SpeedFlex27 Posted August 23, 2019 Report Posted August 23, 2019 Just now, Super Duper Negatron said: So....are we now stuck with a hole where the NFL goal posts are? Nah, that'll be fixed properly. They just never thought it would be a problem. They probably should have converted the field days before to give them time to fix problems like this.
Nolby Posted August 23, 2019 Report Posted August 23, 2019 We're men in the CFL,ain't got no time for no hole MOBomberFan 1
bustamente Posted August 23, 2019 Report Posted August 23, 2019 So how long after the game does the NFL throw Winnipeg under the bus.
SpeedFlex27 Posted August 23, 2019 Report Posted August 23, 2019 Gruden has a permanent "I'm So Pissed Off" look on his face.

Packers weren't. Its all just so dumb tho. Right from the start.. 80 yard field? Not surprised cuz this whole promotion or lack of to this now.. Just Gong. Screw this On Ice entertainment. rebusrankin 1
SpeedFlex27 Posted August 23, 2019 Report Posted August 23, 2019 What I don't get is when they had the Bills playing at SkyDome they never had an issue with the goalposts. So, who's fault is it anyway?
SpeedFlex27 Posted August 23, 2019 Report Posted August 23, 2019 Gruden made a comment earlier today about his concerns with the field. He sure looks like he can't wait to get outta here after the game. We may hear more about this fiasco on Hard Knocks.
itchy Posted August 23, 2019 Report Posted August 23, 2019 Is there any explanation on how they ended up with an 80yd field? You'd think that wouldn't be a problem.
Booch Posted August 23, 2019 Report Posted August 23, 2019 Not sure why or what the issues are with field other than the goal post patch. The field turf installed at IG is the same brand and spec as about 90 percent of the pro and college stadiums in North America I think all the CFL club field turf types are the same in except for Mtl and and BC..and obviously T.O's natural surface Mark F and wbbfan 2
Jpan85 Posted August 23, 2019 Report Posted August 23, 2019 They have played two CFL games with same patches rebusrankin and comedygeek 1 1
SpeedFlex27 Posted August 23, 2019 Report Posted August 23, 2019 That certainly doesn't look dangerous but then I'm no expert. Starman115 1

Some of the concern was that the patch was not stable, again you think this would of been noticed days ago.
SpeedFlex27 Posted August 23, 2019 Report Posted August 23, 2019 Nice tribute to the history of the Raiders with Gruden. Except the team is moving to Vegas next season. Thanks for the memories, Oakland & **** you. Lol. Goalie, wbbfan, bustamente and 3 others 3 1 2

SpeedFlex27 Posted August 23, 2019 Report Posted August 23, 2019 The NFL may never come back to Winnipeg but for sure it's never coming back to Oakland. Tracker and wbbfan 1 1

Nolby Posted August 23, 2019 Report Posted August 23, 2019 I seriously dont understand the bitching,a wet grass turf is more dangerous than a 2x2 patch. Again, the Raiders play on a beach and the packers dont seem to have an issue with that. wbbfan 1
SpeedFlex27 Posted August 23, 2019 Report Posted August 23, 2019 If they checked the field last night they may have cancelled.
wpgallday1960 Posted August 23, 2019 Report Posted August 23, 2019 This game isn't too bad but mostly I find NFL preseason football almost unwatchable. Bigblue204, voodoochylde and wbbfan 3
Mr Dee Posted August 23, 2019 Report Posted August 23, 2019 All the announcers are sure making sure that WINNIPEG is mentioned at least once every few minutes...prominently. Starman115 and SpeedFlex27 2

They would of had to pony up a lot more then that, the Raiders new park in Vegas will cost at a minimum 1.8 Billion.
SpeedFlex27 Posted August 23, 2019 Report Posted August 23, 2019 The whole city works for minimum wage in the gaming industry or in the casinos. How will they afford season tickets?
