JuranBoldenRules Posted May 31, 2019 Report Posted May 31, 2019 The Alouettes franchise has been a festering wound since the moment it started up again. Had some great years on the field but off the field always a mess, losing money. Will be very interesting to see how this plays out.
Noeller Posted June 1, 2019 Report Posted June 1, 2019 I actually thought the league had already taken it over. This doesn't seem like such a huge thing...it's just a transition piece before the new owner takes over...whether it's the Dragon's Den guy or Eric Lapointe's group (my personal preference, for the good of the league...) I think this will work out sooner rather than later...

Noeller Posted June 1, 2019 Report Posted June 1, 2019 it really sucks that the league is so dependent on Toronto and Montreal to be successful.... Geebrr 1
Noeller Posted June 1, 2019 Report Posted June 1, 2019 this is what I'd thought a long time ago, for sure... @HerbZurkowsky1 I see the #CFL has finally stated the obvious - it has assumed control of #AlsMTL. This is something many of us, myself included, stated weeks ago

You had a 50- 50 chance of being right, Herb And if the league had found an owner you would have called it a "surprising development" with zero admission of being wrong and quickly moved on to what is "troubling" about said owner. CFL fans should be thankful for old school print reporters who still find the league interesting, I suppose but often he comes across as a bitchy negatron so common in the industry. Zontar Posted June 1, 2019 Report Posted June 1, 2019 What's the deal with Dan Clark. Priders went ape over how the media supposedly over exaggerated his car crash. But has the guy even put on a helmet yet?

max power Posted June 1, 2019 Report Posted June 1, 2019 So was the league in control of the Als already back when they randomly changed a rule right before the draft to give them and the Argos a couple extra picks? Geebrr 1
Brandon Posted June 1, 2019 Report Posted June 1, 2019 I don't care if it's back ups.... 37 - 1 with a new coach is not a good start.
bearpants Posted June 1, 2019 Report Posted June 1, 2019 Reminds a me a little of the 2013 pre-season... you don’t put too much emphasis on x games but when you lose 37-1... it should be a bit of a red flag... Noeller and Bigblue204 2

Mr Dee Posted June 1, 2019 Author Report Posted June 1, 2019 Gotta chuckle at Dave Dickenson challenging a 10 yard gain, 1st Q in a pre-season game. S t r a n g e.

I sort of like a coach that takes every game seriously, pre-season or not. Sets an example. That's what leaders do. bearpants 1
