Peterman will be our new Dressler.  Guy catches everything thrown his way and then finds a hole for some YAC.

Did Dressler retire?  I don't remember him signing with anyone?

I suspect he will be a midseason airlift for some team that needs help

Both McAlister and Richardson could be special if given the chance.

My teachers used to call me "special"- is that the same?

What I've seen from Whitehead tonight hasn't matched the hype that he supposedly comes with. Nelson still the guy, IMO... once again, experience beats the shiny new toy.

McGuire has not made anyone forget who's number one QB, but considering the lac of protection from the O-line and the dropsies the receivers have had, it's tough to asses him accurately.

Evolution would be taking several steps back - there...

Def an excitement factor with Whitehead but is that enough

Wouldnt mind seeing him lineup as a receiver. That speed is something.

Id find a way to keep both him and Nelson. 1 starts. The other backs up.

I don't think the other reveivers have shown they can contribute in other ways. Say what u want but.. Nelson Whitehead and M Jones all can do multiple things so its almost Like giving them 2 slots.

Nelson/Whitehead= Rec Returner

M Jones = DB and Returner

Lawler = just Receiver

Whitehead certainly has potential and should be kept around but he's not polished in the CF

I would let Kenny Walker continue to compete with Lawler at this point.  But I completely agree with keeping Whitehead around.

We've seen guys like Whitehead before...  and many times before those kind of players learn that even with the big field you cannot consistently return kicks going side to side.

O'Shea is going to want a guy running North /  South and much less risk.
