1 lucky. Big plays and steady ones

2 jeffcoat. Ton of pressure sack and down field play plus one called back.

3 Nichols had a real good half and came back from being banged up for a few drives.

HH. Speller and a few others with the next man up mentality. Guys in tough spots taking over for injured bombers and playing well.

Honorable mention to harris. He did what he always does.

Lots of guys to pick...

1 - Jeffcoat was a monster,  was causing all sorts of chaos.

2 - Special teams blocking and tackling... a massive difference between both teams.

3 - Harris - Made lots of plays out of nothing and was rock solid

HH - Whitehead with those sick cuts both on the return and on offense

Negatives - Lawler didn't win anyone over,   Jones whiffed frequently,  secondary really was soft in the 2nd half,  LaPo calling ultra conservative plays in the 2nd half.

HH to Justin Medlock who had a very good night place kicking and punting.

Very unhappy with the chippy, dirty play by the Argos and infuriated with the lack of control by the officials.

For example, when Andrew Harris refuses to go down in a crowd, it seems to be a tactic to grab his helmet and (try to) rip it off. This is most certainly not a legal tactic and is extremely dangerous. Note to officials: If he (Andrew) hasn't gone down in a crowd, but progress is stopped, blow your whistle. If the defense takes liberties with Andrew after the whistle, grow a pair and throw a flag.

Agree this is not the first overly chippy junk after plays. The league needs to crack down on it.

Further note to the officials and the Command Centre: There were multiple spears/head shots by the Argos tonight. Not only did you not upgrade the penalties to 25 yards you didn't even have the temerity to call the penalties at all! I witnessed multiple infractions -- one to Fenner, another to Whitehead. I also witnessed a blatant head shot/spear by Micah Awe to Chris Streveler. None of these infractions drew a single flag nor did the Command Centre intervene.

  • Spearing on any player will be upgraded to a 25-yard penalty by the Command Centre when a spear is delivered to the head or neck, the player has a clear view to the opponent and there are no mitigating circumstances such as the player ducking into what would otherwise be legal contact.

We should rally the press and team to petition to league to review some of this crap

HH to the D for that beastly stand near on the 1 near the end of the game when it didn't matter but at the same time kind of did.

That was huge. Three shots from the one yard line with nothing on the line but pride and bighill out. Get er done.

I don't get the Nichols stuff today.. He had 2 huge passes and 17 or so totalling 80 yards.

His 2 passes were beautiful... the rest of his throws and his ability to deal with the pocket when it collapsed..... not good.

I was flabbergasted when Chapdelaine called the play as he moved Wilder out of the backfield so there was no threat of the run either up the middle or outside. Just one play which was a qb sneak up the middle with MBT who was going nowhere.  Our D won the LOS on that stand.

Thomas Miles Happy Honker award for his play on that goal line stand.

honourable mention to the scouts who seem to have come up with some receivers, I think the Bombers have the best group of receivers and backups in the league. Some remarkable catches made by them in this game.

Lucky keeps playing this way, he will be NFL bound next year.
