wbbfan Posted July 13, 2019 Report Posted July 13, 2019 (edited) 1 lucky. Big plays and steady ones 2 jeffcoat. Ton of pressure sack and down field play plus one called back. 3 Nichols had a real good half and came back from being banged up for a few drives. HH. Speller and a few others with the next man up mentality. Guys in tough spots taking over for injured bombers and playing well. Honorable mention to harris. He did what he always does. Guest J5V Posted July 13, 2019 Report Posted July 13, 2019 1. Mike Miller 2. Jackson Jeffcoat 3. Charles Nelson
AKAChip Posted July 13, 2019 Report Posted July 13, 2019 Some combo of Nelson, Jeffcoat, Nichols and Whitehead. Mark F, rebusrankin, wbbfan and 1 other 3 1
Brandon Posted July 13, 2019 Report Posted July 13, 2019 Lots of guys to pick... 1 - Jeffcoat was a monster, was causing all sorts of chaos. 2 - Special teams blocking and tackling... a massive difference between both teams. 3 - Harris - Made lots of plays out of nothing and was rock solid HH - Whitehead with those sick cuts both on the return and on offense Negatives - Lawler didn't win anyone over, Jones whiffed frequently, secondary really was soft in the 2nd half, LaPo calling ultra conservative plays in the 2nd half. wbbfan, JBombers, rebusrankin and 1 other 4
wbbfan Posted July 13, 2019 Author Report Posted July 13, 2019 Hecht never came back and Jones made some really good plays
Guest J5V Posted July 13, 2019 Report Posted July 13, 2019 HH to Justin Medlock who had a very good night place kicking and punting.
Stickem Posted July 13, 2019 Report Posted July 13, 2019 Jackson Jeffcoat Special Teams....especially Whitehead and Nelson Andrew Harris.....motor that never quits and apparently is so strong it knocks his helmet off wbbfan 1
Goalie Posted July 13, 2019 Report Posted July 13, 2019 1. Lucky - set the tone 2. Nelson - solid 3. Harris HH to the D for the goal line stand wbbfan 1
Goalie Posted July 13, 2019 Report Posted July 13, 2019 I don't get the Nichols stuff today.. He had 2 huge passes and 17 or so totalling 80 yards.
Guest J5V Posted July 13, 2019 Report Posted July 13, 2019 Very unhappy with the chippy, dirty play by the Argos and infuriated with the lack of control by the officials. For example, when Andrew Harris refuses to go down in a crowd, it seems to be a tactic to grab his helmet and (try to) rip it off. This is most certainly not a legal tactic and is extremely dangerous. Note to officials: If he (Andrew) hasn't gone down in a crowd, but progress is stopped, blow your whistle. If the defense takes liberties with Andrew after the whistle, grow a pair and throw a flag.
Piggy 1 Posted July 13, 2019 Report Posted July 13, 2019 1.Jeffcoat....by a mile. 2.Harris 3. Whitehead,and even all ST's were solid. wbbfan, Noeller and JBombers 2 1

The league needs to crack down on it. rebusrankin 1
Arnold_Palmer Posted July 13, 2019 Report Posted July 13, 2019 Nichols is trolling us. He’s going to throw for under 4000 yards but throw for 50 touchdowns wbbfan, Mark F, SPuDS and 4 others 7
Guest J5V Posted July 13, 2019 Report Posted July 13, 2019 Further note to the officials and the Command Centre: There were multiple spears/head shots by the Argos tonight. Not only did you not upgrade the penalties to 25 yards you didn't even have the temerity to call the penalties at all! I witnessed multiple infractions -- one to Fenner, another to Whitehead. I also witnessed a blatant head shot/spear by Micah Awe to Chris Streveler. None of these infractions drew a single flag nor did the Command Centre intervene. Spearing on any player will be upgraded to a 25-yard penalty by the Command Centre when a spear is delivered to the head or neck, the player has a clear view to the opponent and there are no mitigating circumstances such as the player ducking into what would otherwise be legal contact.
rebusrankin Posted July 13, 2019 Report Posted July 13, 2019 Lucky Harris Jeffcoat HH-Nichols JBombers and wbbfan 2
Noeller Posted July 13, 2019 Report Posted July 13, 2019 Jeffcoat by a country mile. Best player on either team AINEC. Whitehead. Nelson. rebusrankin, wbbfan and BBlink 2 1

We should rally the press and team to petition to league to review some of this crap rebusrankin 1

Get er done. I was flabbergasted when Chapdelaine called the play as he moved Wilder out of the backfield so there was no threat of the run either up the middle or outside. Just one play which was a qb sneak up the middle with MBT who was going nowhere. Our D won the LOS on that stand. Pete Catan's Ghost and wbbfan 2

Thomas Miles Happy Honker award for his play on that goal line stand. honourable mention to the scouts who seem to have come up with some receivers, I think the Bombers have the best group of receivers and backups in the league. Some remarkable catches made by them in this game. Lucky keeps playing this way, he will be NFL bound next year. Edited July 13, 2019 by Mark F wbbfan 1
