Nichols played a lousy game as he himself admitted on the post game. Lapo called a poor game. Turnovers killed us. Those two fumbles on returns cost us 6 points. Oline did not have a great game. Our D was solid overall, especially against Evans. Hamilton's D was outstanding, especially their front 4 and let's highlight Davis.5-1 is still good. Being in first is good. On to the next one.

That about sums it up. Well done!

Sure Nichols didn’t play well but there were other players who didn’t play well. But Nichols seems to always be the scapegoat.

No. Hes not always the scapegoat but when he sucks major ass like he did today, pretty tough to ignore him. 3 picks man. He threw 1 in 5 games. Nichols was **** today even he admitted it.

Can we be sure Nichols was not the fork stabber?

Plenty of people here - myself included - have praised Nichols for the past several weeks.

Tonight, he deserves a lot of blame.

Of course the reactions are going to be different when his play is so different. Its okay to call out poor play but understand that this team is still really good and in great position.

You seriously can’t blame the loss entirely on Nichols. But your blinders are on.

6 turnovers.. Nichols worst game in recent memory... Had a chance to tie on the last drive.. Yeah we will be ok.

He was the worst player on the field today.. 3 picks... A basically pick 6.. If 1 guy gets the blame its him but ive already said Lapo plays a role here so..

What about the oline who played their worst game of the year? What about the front 7 who couldn’t get to the QB who’s playing just his 2nd game in the cfl.

What about the QB who overthrew 3 receivers? Who threw 3 picks? What about that guy? Nichols was ****.. He even said so. Christ.. Accept it. He was awful. The Oline didnt throw 3 picks.. The D who gave up 1 TD all game? Ok 2 but we all know that 2nd was a basic pick 6..

How do u blame the D at all? We had 6 turnovers.. Hamilton scored all but 6 points off 6 turnovers. We blaming the D? WTF.. Refuse to blame Nichols but want to blame the D?

Now we're just back in the Drew Willy days...  blame the OL, blame the receivers, blame bad luck...  maybe the OL looked bad because Nichols was holding on to the ball too long

He was completely off in that first quarter - throwing off his front foot - there wasn't intense pressure

He regained composure for a bit but his choices to throw deep into double coverage - whether its Lapo's call, miscommunication or just on Nichols killed our chances of a comeback

D held us in, ST regained their composure, the offence lost the game for us - the end - next.

Amply evident the offence is not yet good enough to adjust and overcome a lead when facing a tough D, especially on a day they decide to give the ball away 5 times, plenty of work still to be done.  Kind of glad it happened now.

Nichols stunk tonight and that was evident early in the game. The problem was that he was left in too long- he ought to have been pulled in the third quarter. The O-line was not good but even when Nichols had time, he looked unsettled. In Harris' defence, he did had only a few good runs, but that has to mostly on the O-line because usually when he was handed the ball, a TiCat was right at his elbow. The way the Nichols was functioning, I cannot see how Matthews would have made any difference. It is unsettling that Nichols was presented with an opportunity to redeem himself and win the game when Masoli went down, but he choked.

Tough to come down with catches when the ball is routinely being thrown 10 yards out of bounds, regardless of the receiver.

I do somewhat think we need a change up scat back type of rb to compliment Harris. I know we use Demski in that role but he’s not the answer.  But roster wise it would be difficult to implement.

Some games Harris doesnt even get 10 runs.. Not sure what another back would accomplish honestly.
