Mr Dee Posted September 16, 2019 Report Posted September 16, 2019 (edited) Did you know.. - Winnipeg ranks #2 in Scoring but #9 in Passing. NO CFL CLUB has ever led in scoring and finished last in Passing yards. - Team with more T/Oss were 9-61 .129 in 2018 and 11-29 .275 in 2019. - Teams with a superior 2nd Down Conversion rate are 41-9 in 2019 and thus have won 82% of the time. - The 19 total kick return TDs are the most since 2010 (19) and are on pace for 30 which would break the record of 22 in 2004. - The average punt return at 11.1 yards in 2019 is 2nd-highest in CFL history - the record is 11.3 yards set in 2016. - After falling in each of the last 3 years, the number of Penalties is up 12.3% over 2018 at 19.2 per game. Mr Dee Posted September 18, 2019 Author Report Posted September 18, 2019 Did you know.. The Alouettes are last in pass attempts outside the left hash (88). And have thrown more of their passes outside the right hash (123)? - Nic Kowalski And would the Bombers try this? “Could the #Bombers line up Winston Rose and Marcus Sayles on the right and Marcus Rios and Chandler Fenner on the left rather than boundary and field sides? Unlikely, but something to ponder.” - Nic Kowalski

Mr Dee Posted September 19, 2019 Author Report Posted September 19, 2019 (edited) DYK -Last week two more clubs (CGY, SSK) trailed in the 4th Quarter and built drives that brought the winning points. That makes 17 times in 53 games (32%) that has occurred in 2019 compared to just 21 all last year. Cody Fajardo leads all QBs having directed 3 of them and 5 other QBs with 2 each. -The two teams with the most explosive plays in 2019 are #1 in their Division - #1. HAM 40, #2. WPG 34. Mr Dee Posted September 20, 2019 Author Report Posted September 20, 2019 DYK “I don’t know if I’ve ever seen that really before,” Winnipeg Blue Bombers head coach Mike O’Shea was saying this week. What he’s never seen before is two members of the same special teams unit tied for the CFL lead in tackles. It’s happening right now, with Bombers teammates Mike Miller and Kerfalla Exume tied atop the list with 18 special teams takedowns apiece. Miller recently passed O’Shea on the all-time list and now sits third with 178 special teams tackles, six back of Bombers president and CEO Wade Miller (no relation). He needs 12 more tackles to tie the all-time record, held by former B.C. Lion Jason Aragki. Ted Wyman, Wpg. Sun Special Teams..Special Difference Bigblue204, wbbfan, Tracker and 2 others 5

Those 3 really close loses burn. We are 3-3 against the east. When was the last time the first seed in the west was .500 against the east.
