Thing is they don’t have to guess anymore with the replay booth.  They are allowed to overrule the game officials on rough play situations.  They can’t hide behind the “speed of the game” stuff anymore.

The officiating is getting worse, not better.  Horrendous mistakes, usually involving replay, affect the outcome of a handful of games which has an effect on which teams get home playoff games or even who gets into the playoffs.  There’s no other league in sports that has botched the use of replay like the CFL.

Add to all of that the fact that last week's game is perfect evidence why shortening a game due to weather in the 3rd quarter is garbage...the Riders are the luckiest bunch of dinks ever...two gifts, both involving the Al's.

Too bad we didn't get the Als back to back the way the Lions got the RedBlacks. I would have enjoyed the Bombers beating up their 2 qbs. The Great Pumpkin & his beer swilling buddy Matthew Schlitz.
