...that I will be jumping on a plane tomorrow to Bangkok, to kick off a month in S.E. Asia.

Call it therapy.

Now I'm depressed and it has nothing to do with our football team  😄😄

probably a layover in TO??  Can you stop off and see Pinball and work out a deal for MBT & Walker??

Sorry, its Vancouver, Tokyo, Hong Kong, ending at Bangkok.  No layover (30 hr transit).   But I will keep my eyes open.

See if the mayor of Bangkok would be willing to explore having Climax, Saskatchewan as a twin city.   I sense marketing opportunities...

Fantastic! I took an in-country R&R during my second tour in the Nam. Really enjoyed Bangkok and came back with some new shirts! And nothing else if you get my drift! :)

I refuse to answer that question on the grounds it might incriminate me. I hit the Nam in early 1969 and was in Bangkok early 1970 and it was just sort of starting up although had been in existence for some time. I took an out of country to Sidney (Kings Cross Area) at the end of my second tour. Actually like Sidney a little better.
