rebusrankin Posted October 11, 2019 Report Posted October 11, 2019 The Ottawa/Toronto game looks as exciting as watching paint dry. Personally hoping Calgary destroys the Riders.
Blueandgold Posted October 11, 2019 Report Posted October 11, 2019 I agree with Calgary beating Saskatchewan, I personally always hope the Riders get humiliated (its hard for me to cheer for them even if it benefits the Bombers) but a Riders loss still gives us a chance to get first place if we can get our **** together. rebusrankin 1
NorthernSkunk Posted October 11, 2019 Report Posted October 11, 2019 Riders will look terrible tonight..... Riders will play terrible tonight......
17to85 Posted October 11, 2019 Report Posted October 11, 2019 Yeah we can still take care of the Stamps ourselves so cheering for them tonight is the thing to do.
Tracker Posted October 12, 2019 Report Posted October 12, 2019 Ottawa Arndt expecting too much from their quarterback tonight.
NorthernSkunk Posted October 12, 2019 Report Posted October 12, 2019 rod black definitions league worst.
bb1 Posted October 12, 2019 Report Posted October 12, 2019 MBT who can figure this guy? One night he can look all world or at least like a decent QB then next time he plays like garbage...
Wanna-B-Fanboy Posted October 12, 2019 Report Posted October 12, 2019 I hope the entire game goes like this.
Noeller Posted October 12, 2019 Report Posted October 12, 2019 **** the Riders are awful and it's embarrassing to me that we lost to them last week.

J5V Posted October 12, 2019 Report Posted October 12, 2019 Riders lose. That should quiet the trolls.

The complete (and technical) rules can be found here: https://www.cfl.ca/game-rule-tiebreak/
Eternal optimist Posted October 12, 2019 Report Posted October 12, 2019 So right now, here's how those three teams shape up in games against each other. If we win tomorrow, the West standings would look like this: 1) CAL (vs SSK 2-0, vs WPG, 0-1) Overall: 2-1 (Win % 0.667) 2) WPG (vs SSK 1-2 vs Cal 0-1) Overall: 2-2 (Win % - 0.500) 3) SSK (vs WPG 2-1, vs CAL 0-2) Overall: 2-3 (Win % 0.400) Of course, then that massive series against CAL just gets even more massive.

Stamps did us a huge favour tonight. We need to send good vibes to the Lions and Shmoes now. If the Esks can do us a favour and beat the Riders twice Riders would finish 11-7 if they beat BC. If the Riders lose to BC the Esks need to beat them only once. If we can beat Calgary twice the Stamps would finish 11-7. If Calgary should lose to BC we only have to beat them once. If we can win out our games we will finish 12-6 and we win 1st place in the West and host the WSF but we need help from the Esks and maybe the Lions.

You simply cannot throw away games where you have 20 and 23 point leads. In the game tonight we saw where one team opened up a 2-score lead and was able to lock down the win, even though they gave up a late TD, by getting a few clutch first downs that enabled them to run out the clock.

Calgary and Regina both have a game in hand so it would be Cal, SSK, Wpg.
Mr Dee Posted October 12, 2019 Report Posted October 12, 2019 The rough play - ejection of Casher shows the disrespect these players have in certain situations. Trying to wrench a QBs ankle at the bottom of a pile is cowardly. Lots of penalties in this game...most of them warranted.
