If he struggles yet again based on the size of his contract and the production expectations that come a long with that contract, at what point can he no longer use the 'it's a new team, a new system, new surroundings for myself and my family, I'm not getting regular linemates to get used to etc etc) to explain his struggles and buy some patience from the Capitals organization? The Capitals are rolling the dice more than the Kings are here. And thus far the Caps have rolled a nice lucky seven. Edited March 2 by HardCoreBlue

They don’t even care about the moose really. Moose are done soon. They will call up echl guys if need be. Jets need to make a trade because Stanley is still a starting D for us and we still don’t really have a 2 center Seth Jones to Florida. Edited March 2 by Goalie

HardCoreBlue Posted Wednesday at 08:13 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 08:13 PM (edited) If one was forced to choose one option, would it be 2nd line Centre or a 2nd line pairing D man for the Jets? I lean towards a 2nd line pairing D man based on our existing depth. Edited Wednesday at 09:42 PM by HardCoreBlue Piggy 1 and FrostyWinnipeg 2

HardCoreBlue Posted Thursday at 08:59 PM Report Posted Thursday at 08:59 PM Stanley Cup here we come, Dreidger's back in the fold. Can Chevy please make a major trade so we can argue about something, jeeez.
Goalie Posted Thursday at 11:03 PM Report Posted Thursday at 11:03 PM (edited) Nelson would be fine as 2 center As would soucy or Ferraro on D. Both LHD. But I wonder if we in on B Tanev. Nino Lowry Tanev would be dirty in the playoffs. I believe jets save a couple hundred thousand with the ahl goalie swap also. Edited Thursday at 11:03 PM by Goalie
Goalie Posted Friday at 01:24 AM Report Posted Friday at 01:24 AM Nevermind Soucy. Traded to Rangers. NTC strikes again.
HardCoreBlue Posted Friday at 02:55 AM Report Posted Friday at 02:55 AM Thought of a weird question walking the dog. While he is playing, he has been traded to another team and the deal has been finalized and approved, does he technically have to come out of the game as he is now property of another team? Or do they write that into the deal that the trade takes effect after the game has been completed? What if he gets hurt during the game? I know they usually pull a player if they think he may get traded that night but just thinking of this specific scenario.

Rantanen not playing well in Carolina either makes me wonder if he’s gonna end up back in Colorado in the off season. Maybe that’s his end game.
Goalie Posted Friday at 04:56 PM Report Posted Friday at 04:56 PM (edited) Anthony Beauvillier was traded twice last season for fifth-round picks on each occasion. Today, he's worth a second-rounder. to Washington worst draft in years. happy Chevy not overpaying yet. Find good value. Don’t overpay. Unless something out of left field. It’s only a done deal with an extension and appears that’s not happening. Dallas not going over 12 they say. No extension no deal there. Dallas RHD side is ugly AF tho. And as of today it’s Dallas Colorado round 1. Jets need to win the division and let Dallas and Colorado beat each other up. Edited Friday at 05:05 PM by Goalie rebusrankin 1

Guilty pleasure with these large market teams is they spend a gazillion dollars on a player, he makes off like a bandit with his guaranteed money to support his family and automatically flames out big time. Bubble wrap anyone?
