Shane Bergman suffers from vertigo & when it strikes can miss a bunch of games. Brad Erdos also has injury problems & missed most of last season. Kasitati aaat RT is a pylon & the worst OL on the team. They re-signed Kasistati & are letting Dennis go. Stats. be damned, in the WSF the Stamp O-line did not allow a sack, in their week 20 matchup with the Bombers they allowed 1....that's not too bad. blue_gold_84 1

Wilder has been wildly inconsistent throughout his career. He had a stretch of six games at the end of the 2017 season where he posted four 100-yard games and 5 rushing TDs. He's had one 100-yard game since (early 2018). A single good streak doesn't count for much, nor should it. He's proven nothing. Labeling him a star is a slap in the face to actual CFL stars, IMO. Nothing to write home about. The Stamps running game scared no one last season (last in the CFL) & the majority of that is on a shitty run blocking offensive line.

If there's no hole then there's little or no gain. I normally agree but they were starting Ante Milanovic-Litre and clearly had no interest in running the ball in either of their matchups. The Bombers knew it too which in a way makes it all the more impressive that they allowed a combined one sack. Edited January 30, 2020 by AKAChip

That is why they run the offence the way they do. It is also why the way to beat them is to drop everyone into coverage. It is the fans and media around the league who are mistaken. The most misunderstood part of this game is pass protection.

Mark F Posted January 30, 2020 Report Posted January 30, 2020 Bo is very good at hanging out in the pocket, moving around a bit, away from pressure.
Geebrr Posted January 30, 2020 Report Posted January 30, 2020 Sounds like Ottawa won't talk to Nichols until Sunday at least

If Ottawa can come to an agreement with Arbuckle, Nichols will be left with Toronto or wait until a starting QB goes down. NorthernSkunk 1
