B-F-F-C Posted February 3, 2020 Report Posted February 3, 2020 Happy for Streveler but I think we’ll be seeing him in the blue and gold again.

Doublezero Posted February 3, 2020 Report Posted February 3, 2020 (edited) Loved watching him play in Blue & Gold - such an exciting, dynamic player. Hope he gets a real chance to show his skills down south. Edited February 3, 2020 by Doublezero Goalie and Fred C Dobbs 2
TBURGESS Posted February 3, 2020 Report Posted February 3, 2020 Damn! It's what I was expecting, but I held out hope until today. Good luck to Streveler in the NFL. Fred C Dobbs and Goalie 2
Stickem Posted February 3, 2020 Report Posted February 3, 2020 Sad news ...but when one door closes another opens....Now I hope to see what McGuire can really do and he gets the desired playing time J5V 1
Booch Posted February 3, 2020 Report Posted February 3, 2020 He will be a short tenured NFL guy, based pretty much on what I assume he will be used for..I would confidently say that if he does stick for a year or two, and then uses up his PR time, and NFL usefulness vs price tag he will come back here, as a more seasoned QB and lead this team for several years....look at it as the NFL developing him for us while we roll with Zack for a year or 2 and develoip McGuire..who know's..McGuire may flourish and Strev becomes his change of pace back-up Doublezero, BomberD, Fred C Dobbs and 3 others 6

I hope that's the case, but he may be seen a utility guy down there and not get a lot of true QB reps. I guess we'll see how it plays out. Good luck to him. Edited February 3, 2020 by BomberBall

He won't get developed like he will want to be...but will get good coaching and learn a lot...and then prob tire of being the battering ram for 6-8 reps a game...I thinking he ends up in Miami...be best spot for him based on current rosters tho
Booch Posted February 3, 2020 Report Posted February 3, 2020 No way he un-seating Murray there...can't see him taking away reps from Drake..Edmonds..Johnson either...They also still have another QB they drafted last year, he be in tough and most likely PR i would think...but never know Piggy 1 and Bigblue204 1 1
bearpants Posted February 3, 2020 Report Posted February 3, 2020 Good luck to Streveler... hope he does well there...
Floyd Posted February 3, 2020 Report Posted February 3, 2020 Impressive. He'll come back to the CFL as a starting QB and get $500k from someone in a couple years... if he comes back
M.O.A.B. Posted February 3, 2020 Author Report Posted February 3, 2020 I take it as like hiding Strevy on NFL PR roster. Its better to see him in NFL uni than other CFL team uni. Mr Dee 1
trueBlue83 Posted February 3, 2020 Report Posted February 3, 2020 hopefully he doesn't want to stick around on a practice roster and actually wants to play and winds up back here in late September, ready for another playoff run!!
Mr Dee Posted February 3, 2020 Report Posted February 3, 2020 One of the more exciting players to shine last season. Every time he touched the ball, you knew something was going to happen. He, and Jefferson, changed the whole dynamics of a football game as we know it in Bomberville. Last season will never be forgotten. Nevertheless, he gets his chance in the big league. Good for him. Wish him luck. Hope he ‘lits’ it up. We don’t get to see too many Cardinal games up here, but I’ll surely be looking.. Great entertainment. Noeller, Fred C Dobbs and NorthernSkunk 3
SpeedFlex27 Posted February 3, 2020 Report Posted February 3, 2020 I suspect that he won't be used much as a qb. Maybe short yardage but the NFL like to keep their starters in during those situations. I suspect they'll move Streveler around to feed him the ball much like the Saints do with Taysom Hill. On a personal note, I wish the guy well. He played like a warrior & was a HUGE reason we won the Grey Cup. I won't however, miss the Big Chris nickname used primarily by one person here (Roadgriller in disguise) & who spoiled it for a lot of us. JCon, rebusrankin, trueBlue83 and 1 other 2 2
nate007 Posted February 3, 2020 Report Posted February 3, 2020 Pretty cool that the first Bomber QB to sign in the NFL in forever is going to be playing for a HC that's also a former Bomber QB... Fred C Dobbs, Noeller, Goalie and 2 others 5
