kelownabomberfan Posted December 5, 2019 Report Posted December 5, 2019 (edited) Already reported....sorry...didn't see the prior thread page...my bad. Edited December 5, 2019 by kelownabomberfan
B-F-F-C Posted December 5, 2019 Report Posted December 5, 2019 Well at least we saw him for a season. If not for his injury we wouldn't even have seen him in Blue & Gold. In the end it might have worked out for both parties. bigg jay 1

Dr Zaius Posted December 5, 2019 Report Posted December 5, 2019 (edited) Is this the end of our can-con on our d-line? Kongbo gone, Thomas aging out/potential retirement, Hansen not good enough to carry the load on his own Edited December 5, 2019 by Dr Zaius

Tiny759 Posted December 5, 2019 Report Posted December 5, 2019 This probably puts an end to the idea of re-signing zach. Keeping the first round could be crucial now considering there are a couple defensive ends that should be available in the first round.

Noeller Posted December 5, 2019 Report Posted December 5, 2019 this isn't the first time the Bombers have granted this request. Walters has always allowed this, I believe, and it's absolutely a thing that makes the Bombers an attractive option to FAs... blue85gold, TBURGESS, Eternal optimist and 1 other 2 2

Pretty difficult to find a Natl. DE good enough to supplement Willie and Jeffcoat without a major drop-off, they got fairly lucky with Kongbo. It would be good to draft a Natl. Safety or a solid WIL, as it is Exume and Briggs may be able to rotate in more next season.
JCon Posted December 5, 2019 Report Posted December 5, 2019 Seriously, I would use my first round pick on an OL. It's what works for us. Bigblue204 1

I was just throwing Bennett's name out there as he was A) local and B) ranked right where the Bombers are picking. The draft pool and it's rankings are always changing so projecting what we might do at this point is 100% speculation... exactly what the off-season is for! Noeller, rebusrankin and JCon 3
