I am not trolling.  This may not have been the right thread for the comment, I will try better to put comments in the proper threads.  Nichols was the # 1 QB last year so I feel my thoughts are warranted.  And at least they are football related to the team and not like some comments that are just meant to attack other posters.

Man, I'm 33 and was wondering if I'd see one in my lifetime.

I've had the luxury of being alive and seeing 4 in my lifetime...being 48

When I think of it I have seen more than prob any of those putz's on Riderfans have seen in their life...something they likes to chirp about how Bomber fans had seen none

The 3DownNation all-decade CFL team: specialists

Can’t argue very much with the fans’ choices for the first four players to be named to the 3DownNation all-decade CFL team.
Just for the fun of it...

Place kicker - Justin Medlock
Punter - Rob Maver
Returner - Brandon Banks
Long Snapper - Chad Remple

And I'm pretty certain nobody else believes you, either. This is the same crap you used to pull on TEP, prior to getting banned* there.

Do us all a favour and grow up.

* you weren't actually banned; you just ran away when mods began deleting your shitty bait comments during the 2018 NHL Playoffs.

#8 in our year in Ed Tait’s review series.

“we would soon learn about the 2019 Bombers as the playoffs opened was this: adversity doesn’t just build character, it reveals it.”

Do yourself a favour, follow, and read everything Ed Tait puts out there regarding the Winnipeg Football Club.
You will not regret it. He’s the best..

I'm chuckling at this because it reads as somehow revelatory "news".....Ed's been the best around these parts for going on 20+ years...

Nichols isn't that far done where he can't get a job.   What team wouldn't want a vet back up qb.

Depends on how he recovers. Throwing shoulder injury....he could legitimately be done. Assuming he heals up just fine, then yeah he's got lots of game left.

Even if his shoulder is compromised... someone will at least sign him.

The only QB that may have used his last life last season would be Jennings....

There are several teams that woulda killed to have Nichols last year. He will have a job no question.

The big question about Nichols is the degree of recovery of his shoulder.  If he is not ready to go by May, that would signal that he may not ever be the same quarterback again.

Agree. And unfortunately, a decision has to be made on him soon. January or February. And if you do sign him, for how much? Do you base it on actual recovery or anticipated recovery? Tough decision.

Quit trying to justify your stupid anti Nichols comments. No one cares if you're butthurt because you perceive you're  being attacked. If you don't like it, then stop slagging Nichols.  Otherwise, you're fair game. Even some of the mods think you're a troll.

Oh ****... is he the guy who was all about the Vegas golden knights when the jets were in a play off series?

I have several concerns about this guy. Firstly, he is wearing colours like the TiCats, secondly, every time someone called him by name, the quarterback would hit the ground, and lastly, he ought to be playing hockey in Annaheim.

“That stability at the top – and the successful results that have come from it – comes in at #7 on our Year in Review list of the Top 10 Bombers stories of the year.

Returning O’Shea, who is the Canadian Football League’s longest-tenured coach, and Walters – the second-longest tenured GM to Calgary’s John Hufnagel – will be critical for the Bombers as they attempt to build on their 2019 Grey Cup victory.

The Bombers were 3-15 the year before this regime took over, and then went 5-13, 11-7, 12-6, 10-8 and 11-7 this past season. Over those years, the working relationship between the three men – all former players – has evolved.“

Not butthurt at all,  just pointing out a bit of hypocrisy.  And I would appreciate the trolls stopping the attacks on Lapolice,  he just helped us win a cup.

exactly....the injury to his throwing shoulder is major, in terms of potentially threatening his career.

and people were ready to fire them this season.

These guys have done a great job of creating consistent winning teams and transforming the team no one wanted to play for into a place that players and coaches want to be.

Oh yeah, and they won the 2019 Grey Cup.
