Veteran move by Bombers to 'wait until Friday to announce this, let's us celebrate with drinks! I know in the CFL you can turn things around quickly, but considering where this organization was when O'Shea signed in December of 2013 - wow what a job these guys have done. They've turned Winnipeg into a place players want to play, which means cheaper free agent signings, and is just all-around good for business.

I've been good this year, I only harped on Riderville like, 102% of the time... so Santa please bring back:

- Jefferson
- Rose
- Streveler
- Hardrick
- Bryant
- Adams
- Couture

Just to mention, O'Shea is the longest-tenured among current CFL head coaches - 7yrs (2020)

Along with being the longest tenured Bomber boss since Bud Grant at 8 years, and just ahead of Cal Murphy at 6 years...who'da thunk that after 2015?

He is going to be the all-time leader by end of this term, and may add to it, and even if he doesn't I bet may hold that title for a long time

It’s nice to have our championship front office and coach return.

Someone who posts on Rider Fans go ask Rider Stronson if this is still “great news” for the Riders.

Well. They are calling it a lucky run and lucky grey cup win. And that everyone wanted O'Shea gone 3 weeks before the playoffs. Aside from the few idiots who wanted everyone gone the majority never wanted O'Shea going anywhere. They also think he only re-signed because Toronto didnt want him and wanted Dinwiddie.....the delusion is growing at such a rapid rate over there.

yeah just had a peek over there and read that...what a bunch of fucktards there...all believeing each others drivel...and all the moves the Rider's make are "ata boy Oday!!" "super duper signing"...yadda yadda yadda..

I like the statement the balance of power there now is through them...and oddly enoug us in the west..at least they got one team right in that statement

Especially thankful that they continued to stay the course.  3 year extensions for both.  Don't need to do any of those silly 5 year things and potentially cause issues down the road.  Steady hands on the tiller!

Rider fans trying to spin this? I never would’ve believed it!

Great news for us, happy to see them back and happy Lapo has moved on.

YUP...for a non-player related off-season this was my hopes...now  8 more of our own key re-signs, and it will be a grade A off-season..anything else of notable substance is bonus

Going on the road and beating the defending champs and the most dominant franchise of the past decade is luck? Beating the first place team in their own barn with a trip to the Cup is Luck? Beating a 15-3 team is luck? Then factor in doing all three and they call it luck? Saskatchewan = The Place Where All Villages Go To Find Their Idiot.

Yeah when you go into the playoffs and have to beat the 3 best records in the league on the road it isn't a fluke or luck.

Not that the Riders record was truly indicative of their level, but still. Hardest possible path to a grey cup and the bombers aced it.

No kidding- next year, we will go the easier way in winning the Cup- learn from this year and build on it.
