Because Chevy could predict that Little would get a head injury from a freak accident?    So we should never sign any long term contracts just in case someone gets head trauma?

As per the reason he didnt play for CAL in playoffs I don't think he'll play until there's a Covid vaccine.

That you could definitely debate, but in general giving long term contracts to older players is a bad gamble. The days of showing loyalty is long gone, for both players and owners. It's about the bucks now.
