What was this illness that hit a lot of players and refs? 24 minutes ago, iHeart said: Morrissey isn't playing tonight either At least he won’t risk injury. There’s that at least. Goalie 1
Noeller Posted February 21 Report Posted February 21 Apparently bad flu tearing through... Morrissey woke up feeling like **** after his nap this afternoon. HardCoreBlue 1
HardCoreBlue Posted February 21 Report Posted February 21 McJesus best player in the world but by his standards sure seems to be battling with the puck today.

Goalie Posted February 21 Report Posted February 21 Josh Morrissey and Connor Hellebuyck will miss the Winnipeg Jets' first game back after the 4 Nations Face-Off break, head coach Scott Arniel revealed Friday. KC joining the group in St Louis. Should be playing.
iHeart Posted February 22 Report Posted February 22 I wonder if we should expect another signing or a trade just before March 7th (I just hope my internet doesn't give me grief on the 7th)
HardCoreBlue Posted February 24 Report Posted February 24 (edited) The Ehlers situation is going to be very interesting in how it all plays out over the next couple of weeks or so. My assumption is there's no way Chevy lets NE walk at the end of the 2024/2025 campaign without getting anything for him in return? What are our chances in re-signing him with probably a considerable bump in his pay? What would the length of the contract be? Or do we trade him for some D help, O help, both or blue chip prospects, i.e., 1st rounders? Or we keep in for this upcoming post season, he helps us win the cup (that's the ultimate return) and walks off into the sunset to another team? But that wouldn't be an option? Or would it? So many questions. Edited February 24 by HardCoreBlue
Goalie Posted February 24 Report Posted February 24 (edited) Problem is you trading Ehlers to a contender unless it’s some blockbuster type deal. He is a pending ufa so I don’t think you would get much. A 1st in a weak draft and a meh prospect. Is Ehlers worth more to us? Probably cuz looks like he’s enjoying himself out there. I think he signs. I think there’s a chance pionk is dealt or walks for nothing tho. Edited February 24 by Goalie Noeller 1

bustamente Posted February 24 Report Posted February 24 Letting Nik walk to Free Agency will be a massive mistake for a draft a develop team like the Jets. If the Jets (Chevy) knows he will not re sign then he should of traded him by now but with the way the team is playing that might of been taken out of his hands.
