Kompon, 53, has extensive experience as an NHL Assistant Coach including six seasons with the Los Angeles Kings from 2006-12 and two seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks from 2012-14. Kompon won the Stanley Cup in consecutive seasons, in 2012 with Los Angeles and 2013 with Chicago. Prior to his time in Los Angeles, which included time as the Kings' Director of Amateur Development from 2006-08, Kompon spent nine seasons with the St. Louis Blues from 1997-2006 in various roles which included: assistant coach, video coach and strength and conditioning coach.

The sexual abuse scandal took place during the 2009-10 season, well before Kompon was an employee of the Blackhawks organization.

Fan of his hockey talent and the jersey he wears but that's it when it comes to him.

Whether people like it or not, what he says and does outside of hockey influence others.

The pattern is showing he's a weak minded individual who lives in fantasy land.

And people like will him just just scoff at others who use kindness to tell him he's wrong.

Selfish and entitled.

I would add extremely dumb to that mixture but yes after all the concrete science and evidence accumulated on this virus that doesn't care about politics or opinions, lets continue to be kind and hand hold and allow these people to run amok with their influence and negative impact on our health services.

There are people on their death beds due to this virus who still hold onto their dumbness and people like CH continue to add the gas to that fire.

well I guess there's only one thing I can do on Friday night......DO MY NOW ANNUAL VIEWING OF SPICE WORLD!!! (what? I needed a new NYE tradition since CBC decided not to do anymore air farce specials)

May be an image of text that says 'WINNIPEG JETS SCHEDULE POSTPONEMENTS DEC 31 @ CALGARY JAN 8 vS. SEATTLE JAN 10 vs. MINNESOTA 一 WIRRIPER CPORTS SPOR'

So they are postponing games in Winnipeg until the pandemic restrictions end on the 11th, and they are postponing the Calgary game. But they are still crossing the border into the US for Vegas and Phoenix. So is the shutdown really for COVID or is it the economics of playing In an empty arena?

It’s definitely the money.  They don’t want empty arenas, so they’re postponing games in cities where restrictions don’t allow fans.  Unfortunately, I’m not sure kicking the can down the road will make much difference… I don’t see this cloud suddenly lifting on Jan. 11th.

Maybe. It's -30 here. What Winnipegger isn't willing to risk exposure to Covid for some warmth.
