I feel like he hasn't been the same since he got hurt in what 17? He got a good chunk of yards last year but I feel like he was just a possession guy. Not a threat to break one or beat his man over the top.

Als has Cunninghan, Bray, Lewis and Wieneke. That's a good set of receivers (skill-wise). Probably they're making room for younger guys.

In an article on 3dn its reported Nichols is taking starters reps but that's he's still fighting that shoulder injury and not 100 percent. 

 I think ott is going to have a very rough go of it this year. They also seem to be all in on having Flanders as their starting rb.

If he is fighting a shoulder injury after having 2 years off this may be it for Matty.

Agreed. When he does retire, I hope the Bombers will bring him and his family back to honour him and the first hope of competitiveness we had for years. I don't think we would be here at the top of the CFL food chain without him.
