A judge just said the Trump Organization must hand over records to the NY attorney general

Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Arthur Engoron has just ordered President Donald Trump's company, the Trump Organization, to hand over more documents to the State of New York's Attorney General, Letitia James.

James has been investigating President Donald Trump's family businesses since March of 2019, just two months after she took office.

"The ruling could force the Trump Organization to divulge reams of information about engineer Ralph Mastromonaco," Law & Crime reports, "who was retained to develop the Seven Springs estate, one of four properties currently subject to a broad investigation into whether Eric Trump and various corporate entities improperly inflated assets to obtain tax benefits."

"In 1995, Trump Organization subsidiary Seven Springs LLC bought the estate for $7.5 million," Law & Crimes adds. "Two decades later, Trump agreed to establish a 'conservation easement' to provide a habitat for rare salamanders and bats in 2015, assessing the value of that property's feature at $21.1 million the next year."

Trump sues New Mexico in continued election challenge as Electoral College affirms Joe Biden's win. Trump expands his failed election challenge to a state he lost by 10 points

As the 538 electors who make up the Electoral College met on Monday in all 50 state capitals and the District of Columbia to cast their constitutionally mandated votes for president, Donald Trump expanded his failed legal effort to overturn the 2020 election based on fictitious claims of fraud. The Trump campaign filed a federal lawsuit in New Mexico, a state he lost by more than 10 percentage points, alleging that Secretary of State Maggie Toulouse Oliver violated state law by allowing voters to submit ballots using drop boxes at polling places in lieu of presenting them in-person to a judge.

"[I]t's not over. We keep going and we're going to continue to go forward. We have numerous local cases," Trump told Fox News' Brian Kilmeade before his campaign filed its latest lawsuit.

good choice if correct

WASHINGTON - President-elect Joe Biden will select former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm to be Secretary of Energy, according to multiple news reports.

Granholm, 61, was attorney general of Michigan from 1999 to 2003 and the 47th Governor of Michigan from 2003 to 2011. She was the first woman to serve as Michigan's governor, where she made clean energy development a hallmark of her administration.

Quote

Donald Trump is now a history-making loser.

His doomed crusade to overturn the U.S. election result crossed a milestone following electoral college meetings Monday that formally selected Joe Biden as the next president.

Not in a century and a half, since the post-Civil War era, has a defeated presidential candidate continued to challenge the results past those electoral college meetings.

Watching him detach from reality is comical. What a sociopathic narcissist *****.

Ex-Houston police captain accused of violent attempt to prove election fraud was hired by GOP activist group

By Erin Douglas, The Texas Tribune Dec. 15, 2020
"Former Houston police captain accused of violent attempt to prove election conspiracy was hired by GOP activist's group" was first published by The Texas Tribune, a nonprofit, nonpartisan media organization that informs Texans — and engages with them — about public policy, politics, government and statewide issues.

HOUSTON — A former Houston police captain was arrested after allegedly running a man off the road and threatening him at gunpoint — what prosecutors say was part of an elaborate attempt to find evidence for a false conspiracy theory of widespread voter fraud in Harris County.

Mark Aguirre was working on behalf of a powerful Republican megadonor's group to investigate unsubstantiated claims of widespread voter fraud when, in October, he allegedly pulled a gun on a man described by the Harris County district attorney's office as an “innocent and ordinary" air conditioner repairman.

Aguirre was arrested Tuesday, according to the Harris County district attorney's office.

Prosecutors say Aguirre's election fraud claims were baseless and that he was paid $266,400 by the group Liberty Center for God and Country, whose CEO is prominent Texas right-wing activist Steven Hotze.

Hotze was among a group of Republicans who unsuccessfully sued to have nearly 127,000 Harris County ballots tossed out this year. He was also among Republicans who tried — and failed — to stop Gov. Greg Abbott from extending early voting during the coronavirus pandemic, a suit for which Aguirre had provided an affidavit, stating that he was involved in an investigation into a “wide-ranging and fraudulent ballot harvesting scheme" in Harris County.

Trump in denial: Report says he told aides he wouldn't leave the White House on Inauguration Day

An extensive CNN report Wednesday revealed that President Donald Trump has thought about staging a sit-in and refusing to leave the White House during President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration.

In most presidencies, the handoff is part of a peaceful transfer of power where the outgoing president attends the day's festivities while a SWAT-team-like moving crew helps White House staff pack everything of the first families and brings in the incoming president's things, so it feels like home.

Trump, who continues to maintain he won the 2020 election, has told aides that he will not leave the White House on January 20.\

"In his moments of deepest denial," CNN reported, "Trump has told some advisers that he will refuse to leave the White House on Inauguration Day, only to be walked down from that ledge."

While Trump may pretend he's going to stay in the White House, that wouldn't go well for him. As of noon on Inauguration Day, Secret Service would probably shoo the president out.

Oh yes. Pay per view. Instantly get murica and others out of debt. One of the things I would love to watch are the secret service agents looking at their watches and changing their demeanor (stoic to smiling) once the clock strikes 12.

Unfortunately, he will have a Secret Service detail for the rest of his life. I wonder if that means he'll be in isolation in Sing Sing?

Wouldn't that be the best fate for this narcissistic, racist piece of garbage but to be stuck alone in self-isolation for the rest of his miserable life?

Yea unfortunately I know, I was more referring to the agents who will be in charge of escorting him out com 12 o'clock.

Oh and for the Trumpers who frequent this site, it's not to late to donate to his cause. Give what you can. It makes a difference.

Fake billionaire who is fighting a lost election and now is threatening not to leave., resorts to pocketing donor money, pardoning criminals, firing a the cyber chief with expected consequences, caging kids, and has lied and bullied agencies leading to so many deaths. He knows that there are many people that are currently investigating him that know what he has done. A pardon wont help with state and civilian litigation and the moment he is no longer protected by the Presidency he will either be fighting from going to jail or fighting financial ruin and in all probability both.

That was the job description for the GOP leader. He was the best they had.

Ok, but beyond that, what are your concerns?
