Hes an interesting pick up. 6'6 220, 41" vert 10'4 broad jump 6.75 3 cone and a 4.6 40.  Very low production and usage.  Was a high level basketball recruit over to football and it seems with massive turn over at rutger they never really got around to polishing him into a player. Very little for clips obviously but the little I saw he looks like he has really good top end speed. Its hard to imagine a guy like that not being able to be productive in the CFL at SB.  But every couple of years we have a huge freak come in at WR for camp and seldom have they turned into any thing. Low risk very high reward pick up. Even could be a valuable guy to keep around on the PR for a year to develop.

As much as this regime loves tough, hard nosed high football IQ guys, we also love the athletic monsters just as much.

Well, he's got the size and decent hands, but seems a bit slow on his cuts and breaks. Maybe because he's so tall and lanky- not carrying any excess weight. Would be a project, though.

The 3 cone speed is elite for a wr, thats top 5 range at the nfl combine. He probably needs significant refinement on route running. With a new OC and WR coach every year in college he probably didnt get even the minimum of what he requires to reach his potential.

All the talk around eagles and cardinals TCs was he worked hard improved  a lot and continually showed flashes. I worry about raw WRs hands holding up, the few clips he body catches  any thing he doesnt have to lay out for, but hes about the best you could hope for in a wr project,

I'm pleasantly surprised by this signing.  I would think he wouldn't come cheap and there might be a team offering him more than a rotation.  Glad to have him back.

What great news to wake up to! We're getting the band back together. The Jeff-ends and Kongbo? I can't wait to hear more about how great the Ti-Cats were.

Hansen also factors into the rotation.

Andrew Harris? Glass houses, people.

Stamps drafted Quinn Smith after he was suspended for life in U Sports. Then he was suspended for 3 games by the Stamps as he did it again!!. Harris had played years with the Bombers & Lions & it was a first time offense. Joffrey Reynolds physically assaulted his girlfriend. Jerome Messam was charged with voyeurism. Although to the Stamps credit he was released by the team.

Only to go to the next place that welcomes, with open arms, players with past transgressions.

Bombers drafted Tyson Pencer who had disciplinary issues in college (trying to find the exact issue, help if you know), signed Onterrio Smith who was kicked off his college team and got busted with an”anti-drug detection kit” (a.k.a “Whizzinator”) at the airport, and had convicted murderer Gerry Sawatsky on the team for a few years. And every accused or convicted criminal who does their time can move on with life afterwards, so legally they are entitled to be employed. If one wants to question the morals of a team that employs ne’er-do-wells, OK that is your prerogative, but let’s not pretend that the Bombers are lily white and the Stamps are trash if one feels inclined to cast judgment. Every team has its skeletons.
