Goalie Posted August 3 Report Share Posted August 3 (edited) As a former goaltender in hockey, still play from time to time but the knees don’t cooperate as much but as a former goaltender, terry sawchuck was a local hero for sure. Believe he died young tho but dude lived in the area i grew up in and the old incinarena was renamed to honor him. Terry grew up on Melbourne avenue in East Kildonan. I grew up about 10 streets away. Legend it’s still crazy to me that he died because him and a friend got into a bit of a brawl and yup. Weeks later he passed away.
