Wilder is the least reliable back in the league and the biggest head case. This year standback is the best and in 19 he was just behind Harris. bearpants and Noeller 2
johnzo Posted August 21, 2021 Report Posted August 21, 2021 oof, definitely a weird throw by Adams there. wbbfan and Geebrr 1 1

Stanback is also a much better blocker. I'd take a true rookie over croptop. I wouldn't waste any time on a big back who will not run tough and puts no effort into blocking. Geebrr 1
Eternal optimist Posted August 21, 2021 Report Posted August 21, 2021 (edited) I can say from personal experience as a fan that Wilder is a guy who is easy to throw off his game, and takes selfish penalties. I watched him jabber with other Bomber fans instead of focus on getting the job done when he played in Wpg with the Boatmen Edited August 21, 2021 by Eternal optimist typo Geebrr 1

wbbfan Posted August 21, 2021 Report Posted August 21, 2021 These are better play calls on this drive. Now run it.
johnzo Posted August 21, 2021 Report Posted August 21, 2021 (edited) liked Suitor's breakdown of the D rotation on the pick, but he overlooked how Adams completely missed the receiver. also like seeing a young QB shaking it off and starting to roll. CFL needs every young QB it can get. there's a good throw to the field side. CFL offence becomes much easier when you make 'em cover the whole field Edited August 21, 2021 by johnzo wbbfan and Geebrr 2
johnzo Posted August 21, 2021 Report Posted August 21, 2021 like the escapability there, stepping up, eyes downfield. wbbfan and Geebrr 2

Pete Catan's Ghost Posted August 21, 2021 Report Posted August 21, 2021 Very nice drive by Streveler in the Cards/KC game, ending in a beautiful TD pass. Noeller, johnzo, wbbfan and 3 others 5 1
Mark F Posted August 21, 2021 Author Report Posted August 21, 2021 (edited) my observation is that the Edmonton o line is opening big holes for wilder.... he gets a lot of his yards before anyone hits him. he sometimes breaks a tackle, but not very often. at least that's what I see. no idea if he can block, for passing plays. they dont throw to him much, so dont know if he can Catch. dont think he would be wanted on an O shea /Walters /Mark F team. Harris dinking. He's a 235 pound scatback. he's got amazing moves for such a big man but you need a tough yard in a crowded box he's not your guy. Mark F 1

johnzo Posted August 21, 2021 Report Posted August 21, 2021 (edited) Maier back to work, making quick decisions, delivering with timing and accuracy until he's let down by his RB. 4 minutes ago, wbbfan said: Cal has an argos crowd tnite yikes that's too bad, this game is shaping up to be a gooder.
