I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Can’t expect a rookie kicker to hit from 56 all Willy nilly.

The 56 yarder, fine. It's the other kicks & convert he's missed this season. Most were makeable. He's got to grab the kicking job & make it his own. That no one will take it away from him.

Everyone misses some kicks even medlock, give the kid a chance to settle in before we run him out of town. It's still just his 2nd game as the kicker

That's true, Paul McCallum is a good example.  Missed a field goal, so Rider's fans dumped manure in his neibour's driveway, egged the McCallum house and uttered death threats towards his family.  After that he goes to BC and and ends up having some career years.

I hope he succeeds because if he does, the Bombers succeed as well.

I'd never advocate doing that. Some Rider fans are trash.

Three Stars

Defense- only allowed eight points, had 5 turnovers.

Harris- 34 years old and still running like he's 24.  Passed Joffrey Reynolds on the all time rush yards list.

Oline- Looked great pass blocking and run blocking.  Couture got under Marino's skin, nice to see that on a Labour Day weekend.

****, we chased Hajrullahu out of town after a shaky month, and since he's been good enough to earn some NFL looks.

He’s 5-7 and the majority of his kicks he’s made is from 40-50 yards.. he’s doing just fine he’s only missed one convert. He’s a young kid, he’s going to have a good career in this league.

he kicked the game winner a few days ago, under pressure.

and made four of four.

he is the new  whipping boy.

more concerning is need to get better blocking on punt returns. and stop opponent quicker. field position was not good, first half.

third star.. wolitarski. it would be good to see him become a threat.... make it easier for other guys to get open.

its going to be interesting to see if that game is the beginning of the end of fajardo. he was not a cfl calibre qb last night.

command centre , lol, and reffing was embarrassing  at times.

but overall... ok. they actually called some penalties on sask.

sask 8 points.

Sad because there’s a lot of responsibility for him doing both kicking duties and the majority of his kicks are from 40 yards out. On third and a short two I thought we were better off just going for it even if the end result was just as good as a punt.

Well we sure let the air out of the green teams over inflated ego's....IF the media is saying that Faj is in line for MOP in this league where does that place Zack who made  their qb. look less than average....I think some peoples eyes have been opened.....

Collaros.....although our O isn't firing on all cylinders yet, Zack get's it done

Jefferson's......movin' on up alright....right in the face of Faj all game...

Bighill......another solid outing ...what a sparkplug that just keeps us tickin'

His inaccuracy & nervousness is going to cost us big time. Just remember all the games we lost because Troy Westwood sucked.

This is the type of stuff that doesn't help. Fans jumping down his throat 2 games into his career. What happened to the last kicker bomber fans treated that way? Oh yeah he's trying to find work in the NFL.

Give Legs some time.

I think it'd be best for him if he didn't have to do all the jobs. If we could find another ni to kick off and punt and let him grow into being a kicker then into doing both jobs that'd be great.

Liegghio needs to figure it out asap. Im all for giving the rookie a chance, but his 2 missed field goals were downright awful. Even his 46 yarder bounced at the 5. Not even close. For a guy known for his leg strength, ive been less than impressed. Its not like he's mashing these kicks and theyre just going wide. And his punting has been very up and down. A lot of people here willing to give him lots of time to figure it out, but we'd be singing a very different tune if we had lost by 2 points. He'd be working at footlocker by now if this were the NFL.

Honorable mention to the Command center for overturning that phantom offsides against Demski. The officials got flag happy and it appeared that the refs were really trying to get the Bombers out of field goal range. That overturn was huge as it put us back in FG range and woke up Valesi and his crew to stop calling fake penalties.

A 56 yarder, not many kickers will have the leg for that consistently.

People were spoiled with medlock bottom line. I will also suggest that this teams special teams as a whole are significantly weaker than 2019.

The 46 yarder was into the wind. A wind strong enough to make oshea choose field direction and kickoff instead of getting the ball in the 2nd half after the riders had taken the lead.

Agree on both points. However, weve been very lucky that he hasnt cost us games yet, and its a guarantee that he will moving forward if his kicking doesnt improve asap.

To be fair they also called roughing the kicker on ssk because Bryant fell on legs a minute after he kicked the ball lol.

The only thing he has done is won us a game....

Riders kicker missed a 35yrder with the wind.
