He's got to grab the kicking job & make it his own. That no one will take it away from him.

CrazyCanuck89 Posted September 6, 2021 Report Posted September 6, 2021 Three Stars Defense- only allowed eight points, had 5 turnovers. Harris- 34 years old and still running like he's 24. Passed Joffrey Reynolds on the all time rush yards list. Oline- Looked great pass blocking and run blocking. Couture got under Marino's skin, nice to see that on a Labour Day weekend.

He’s 5-7 and the majority of his kicks he’s made is from 40-50 yards.. he’s doing just fine he’s only missed one convert. He’s a young kid, he’s going to have a good career in this league. wbbfan, the watcher, Eternal optimist and 4 others 6 1
Mark H. Posted September 6, 2021 Report Posted September 6, 2021 1. The Jeffs - just kept meeting at the QB - for coffee breaks 2. Collaros - a gritty performance - that is all 3. B. Alexander - a leader on the back end - the glue that keeps the secondary together HH: Andrew Harris HM: the Coaching staff - this team buys in and plays hard rebusrankin, Piggy 1, JCon and 1 other 4

Sad because there’s a lot of responsibility for him doing both kicking duties and the majority of his kicks are from 40 yards out. On third and a short two I thought we were better off just going for it even if the end result was just as good as a punt. Mark F 1
Stickem Posted September 6, 2021 Report Posted September 6, 2021 (edited) Well we sure let the air out of the green teams over inflated ego's....IF the media is saying that Faj is in line for MOP in this league where does that place Zack who made their qb. look less than average....I think some peoples eyes have been opened..... Collaros.....although our O isn't firing on all cylinders yet, Zack get's it done Jefferson's......movin' on up alright....right in the face of Faj all game... Bighill......another solid outing ...what a sparkplug that just keeps us tickin' Edited September 6, 2021 by Stickem Mark F, rebusrankin and JCon 3
17to85 Posted September 6, 2021 Report Posted September 6, 2021 Once this team gets the special teams figured out and the offense starts to become more and more geared towards what collaros is doing this team is going to be frightening. They're winning with awful field position and inconsistencies on offense. Imagine whe these things get cleaned up? Stickem, JCon, wbbfan and 1 other 3 1
TBURGESS Posted September 6, 2021 Report Posted September 6, 2021 1. Alexander - Picks and big hits. 2. Harris - His running allowed Collaros to go for the bombs. 3. D Line - Took over the game. I think it'd be best for him if he didn't have to do all the jobs. If we could find another ni to kick off and punt and let him grow into being a kicker then into doing both jobs that'd be great. Bubba Zanetti Posted September 6, 2021 Report Posted September 6, 2021 Liegghio needs to figure it out asap. Im all for giving the rookie a chance, but his 2 missed field goals were downright awful. Even his 46 yarder bounced at the 5. Not even close. For a guy known for his leg strength, ive been less than impressed. Its not like he's mashing these kicks and theyre just going wide. And his punting has been very up and down. A lot of people here willing to give him lots of time to figure it out, but we'd be singing a very different tune if we had lost by 2 points. He'd be working at footlocker by now if this were the NFL. Bigblue204 1
kelownabomberfan Posted September 6, 2021 Report Posted September 6, 2021 Honorable mention to the Command center for overturning that phantom offsides against Demski. The officials got flag happy and it appeared that the refs were really trying to get the Bombers out of field goal range. That overturn was huge as it put us back in FG range and woke up Valesi and his crew to stop calling fake penalties. rebusrankin, Mark H. and Bigblue204 1 2
