He isn't that kind of qb and we're not asking him to be that guy. It's working out great. He was better in edm than any qb since kg.
TBURGESS Posted October 3, 2021 Report Posted October 3, 2021 Collaros is THE difference between Winnipeg being an average team like they were last year before he started and the dominant team they are today. He's the QB that some around here thought that Nichols was. The one who changed our teams destiny. Mark H. 1
wbbfan Posted October 3, 2021 Author Report Posted October 3, 2021 Nichols couldn't complete short passes to create first downs. He was super reliant on Harris out of the back field. Collaros can throw short passes with out going 2 and out and relying on Harris. His accuracy touch and zip is far better in every range. He gets the ball out fast enough and with accuracy to let his guys pick up yards. Like Edmonton and woli did vs bc.

But yes no question the best since khari. And he's better than khari right now. Khari used to throw a ton of picks. 2 minutes ago, JuranBoldenRules said: Only needed one playoff to win more games than Glenn. And Nichols. And 90 percent of our qbs from 91 to current.
17to85 Posted October 4, 2021 Report Posted October 4, 2021 Khari threw a lot of picks at a time when completion percentages were lower and picks happened more regularly. As for best since then, yes it's collaros, after that between Glenn and Nichols and I opted for Glenn as he had less to work with. Nichols peak probably higher than Glenn, but Glenn was pretty consistent.

The '07 offense was pretty darn good. A solid OL with Goodspeed and Gauthier at OT, and Milt and Blink were still effective. wbbfan and Noeller 1 1
Dodge and Burn Posted October 4, 2021 Report Posted October 4, 2021 I posted last year about a feeling where Callaros would take us before he is done here. I dont want to jinx it by saying it twice. Anyways he is killing it. He is jersey worthy at least to this point. wbbfan and Noeller 2

Zach's also much more mobile allowing his receivers to get open when he scrambles around much like Tom Clements was. DC's around the league have to account for him in their matchups so it's truly 12 0n 12 & not 12 on 11 as it was with Matt Nichols who was no threat to run. The four best qbs since 1981, Brock, Clements, Jones & Collaros. Not necessarily in that order. coach17, Noeller, wbbfan and 1 other 4

A SAM back then was still a true LBer. And rangy Safteys that could cover side line to side line were exceedingly rare in the NFL. Its funny but between the two Id take nichols in a play off game. And glenn during the season. Glenn knew how to burry teams. Nichols didnt win a play off game, but he always played his best football in the play offs and in the clutch. Glenn had a tendency to throw un timely picks. The worst thing Nichols did in the play offs was criminally under throw some deep balls to wide open guys. 8 hours ago, Mark H. said: The '07 offense was pretty darn good.
