bustamente Posted October 30, 2021 Report Posted October 30, 2021 Elks players look like they would rather be somewhere else, that a bad look for a team Tracker 1
Noeller Posted October 30, 2021 Report Posted October 30, 2021 Man oh man... Is Edm really that bad? And what does it say about us that we barely got by them? Stuff like that keeps me up... BigBlueFanatic 1
BigBlueFanatic Posted October 30, 2021 Report Posted October 30, 2021 Edmonton still had a chance at making the playoffs when they played the Bombers. First two games Harris was still officially the franchise qb and they had something to play for. Bombers broke them repeatedly and now the Ticats are basically playing RedBlacks ‘berta edition Don’t sweat it! GCJenks, AB BomberFan and Geebrr 1 1 1

Stuff like that keeps me up... A lot of it has to do with the shape of the football. It ain't round so sometimes the bounces can go either way. Teams have good days & bad days. The Elks good days are still worse than our bad days so a game may be closer than we'd like it to be. Is my analogy making sense or should I just quit while I'm ahead. 😉 Noeller and Wanna-B-Fanboy 1 1
Brandon Posted October 30, 2021 Report Posted October 30, 2021 I watched both games, it's unfortunate that Ottawa doesn't have a half decent offense because the defense isn't all that bad. Edmonton has the worst secondary in the league... how many 20 - 40 yard passes did Masoli throw to guys who were wide open tonight? Tracker 1

The best part was Suitor talking about how had Grymes made that interception against us how it may of changed the end result of that game. The very next play Hamilton drops a bomb with Grymes completely out of position

Not barely. 7 hours ago, SpeedFlex27 said: I've never felt Aaron Grymes is as good as his reputation seems to be. Hasn't been as good since he came back from NFL. Jesse, Geebrr and rebusrankin 1 2

The very next play Hamilton drops a bomb with Grymes completely out of position What I loved was that Suitor said, at least three times, that there were 8 minutes left when Grymes dropped the ball. There was actually 11:23 when he dropped it, but it makes it sound like Edm was closer to winning if there were 8. He also said that Edm was close to beating us twice. Not sure how he figures that?? 🤷♂️ JCon and Geebrr 2

rebusrankin Posted October 30, 2021 Report Posted October 30, 2021 The 30-3 game, never in doubt that we would win. The first one was close early in the half but then the D took over and can't say they were close. I'd give you the last one since it was tied with 11 to go in the 4th.
Geebrr Posted October 30, 2021 Report Posted October 30, 2021 (edited) We beat the piss out of Hamilton. That says more than enough if we want to play that game. Also how many points did our FG cost us against Edmonton? Edited October 30, 2021 by Geebrr BigBlueFanatic and Noeller 2
