And he seems like a guy who can get under a dbs skin

Yup, he definitely likes to talk smack lol. He was into it early yesterday with a Montreal DB and it was pretty heated. After the whistle the DB actually headbutted him, it was caught by the TSN camera but no refs noticed ofcourse and no mention by the broadcasters. Im sure if it was Duke Williams instead Suitor would have been screaming bloody murder.

Not sure anyone can live up to your lofty expectations.  I mean you seemed ready to give Bailey an apple and a road map earlier in the year.

There are a number of factors at play with his numbers this year, liķe starting the year on the IR, having a new OC and the progression of the other receivers.

For how many times he's targeted,  he seems to draw a fair number of PI calls so those are yards he's getting for us but it won't show up in his stats.

I wouldn't say that expecting more than 550 yards a season from our most expensive and seasoned vet wr is lofty. Nor is it lofty to expect him not to have 1 for 8 2 for 7 type games when we need to lean on him.

Yes he's a very good blocker. But so is every starting wr we have. He starts in a premium high percentage slot spot. If he was playing wolis field side wide out it'd be more reasonable. But still he's looking like his career is on its last leg.

Does he deserve a chance to shake it off and be in camp next year sure. But he needs to find his old form. He's dropped way too many this year.

Andrew Harris headbutted Simoni Lawrence in the 2019 GC and it wasn't called... so we'll call it even!

Side note... that was the last time Lawrence did anything of significance in that game...

Yup. Their "Stars" did sweet F all in the Grey Cup. Lawrence was a no-show, Banks took his blanket and went home early, Frankie Williams got torpedoed by German U-boat #3, Evans looked like Alex Brink, and most outstanding lineman(hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Van Zeyl looked like be belonged in a subway the way he was getting turnstilled.

I would 100% be in favour of the argument that his salary is not supported by his production but that's not new... in 2019 he only averaged 42 yards per game (he's at 39 ypg this season).

I will argue that it's unrealistic to expect more from a guy who has, statistically, been trending downward since 2016 and is no longer a top 3 target.

On the first pass he saw, where Darvin was running a post route and the ball was batted down, Collaros needs to lead him a bit more on those BUT Darvin was 100% dogging that route. Like He had LOADS of space in front of him and if he would have just run hard (Like he did on his deep route that was completed) it was an easy 6 points. But that's Darvin. He just doesn't play hard for every snap and he never has. Which is why he drives me crazy!

On his deep completion you could see he was going to be targeted because he came off the line like he was shot from a damn cannon, made his move and turned the defender inside out. It was a really nice route and he was running HARD.

There was another point where, again he turned his defender inside out and was wide open down the middle, but Collaros didn't see him.

I love the guy and the way he plays, but the bombers could absolutely be getting more out of that position.

once Darvin hits another 70 yard reception in the playoffs all this will be forgotten

No not really. You need guys to produce all year too. It's pretty close to time to move on no matter how he performs.

I think its a changing of the guard from Adams to Lawler, with Demski emerging as number 2 and Bailey improving too. Still like Adams as a 4th option and a guy who can make big plays when needed. Supposed to be good in the room too isn't he?

Adams is great in the locker room ..big leader of the team not just recievers.

He's the grit guy...gives the offence attitude and his play/role is what's giving Demski and Bailey space...he's a threat and needs to be accounted for..and Lawler gets benefit of that...tho he is a top tier receiver regardless anyway...

Also he is always blocking his ass off and doing all the things right which sets the standard and example here...and he will be key in playoffs....again

Agree totally. As the 4th option out there he's a great fit. Always needs to be accounted for because he can score long TDs. Blocks well. Gets under the skin of the defence.

On rewatch: crunch of the game was Stanback absolutely trucking Alexander in the second half.  I know it was for the bad guys, but it was some smash mouth business that made me go wow.
