Odds and Sods - Game 12 - Als at Bombers

Amazing weather in fact....outstanding for Nov.
Some good running by Stamback for a couple of first downs
Jefferson knocks down 2nd pass....
Ball snapped way over Als punter's head....bounces back..
....they finally jump on it at their own 33....
Zac hits Bailey with pass for FD...
Demski sweep, Olivera run gets it first down at Al's 15 yard line..
Demski takes pitch outside, cuts inside all the way to endzone.  TD!
Deep in Bomber end, Olivera fumbles......Als lineman scoops it up...
....and rolls down the sideline for the TD.   Egads!  7-7
Grant nice return to the 45....
2 incomplete passes has the Blue punting..
Als D line getting some pretty good pressure on Zac...
Harris takes a shot, but completes sideline pass
But the receiver called for PI...strangely the Als challenge...
....on a 20 yard play, but gets the call overturned.....
Harris tries to roll out....but smothered by Kongbo.....
Zac finds Lawler and Wolt for first downs
Als called for PI....ball on their 25
Nice one handed catch by Demski..gets it to the 15
Zac under pressure throws incomplete...
Castillo pops 22 yd FG....10-7 for the Blue
Harris runs for his life and 5 yards....
....then is surrounded by Bombers.... sacked by Thomas
Harris pressured and has arm hit by Jeffcoat....
Zac pressured but finds Oliveria on sideline....
.....but holding penalty pushes the Blue back
Castillo ...37 yd attempt....misses it!  10 points now given away....
Harris throws down the middle for big 30 yd gain....
Stambeck sweeps...gets to the edge and turns corner....
....rolling for another 35 yards....down to Blue 15
Harris throws square out into end zone....receiver open.
Just like that...TD.....fans somewhat in a state of shock.......14-11 Als
Pass to Demski...couple of Augustine runs...then pass to Lawler...
....has the ball on Als 25.  Two incompletes brings on Castillo....
....who hits 35 yd FG to tie up this game.....14-14
Halftime.....and this one is in doubt.
Harris lays one up long...ball caught over Alford for big gain..
Stamback rumbles down to the Bomber 10
Harris looks one way, throws back door.... to wide open guy in end zone
Another TD on our D.  70 yards just like that . 21-14 Als
Als need this game more than the Bombers, and playing like it...
ZC throws a couple of incomplete passes....punt.
Bomber O not looking very sharp...at this point....
Wilson stuffs run play....Harris then feels heat and dumps it....
Zac hits Lawler and Olivera for first downs....
...but tic tak roughing penalty....pushes us back
ZC barely avoids sack.....Als still bringing some pretty good heat.
The lack of finish on O.....has the crowd pretty subdued, at this point....
Als 2 and out.....both teams stalling on offense....
Zac sideline pass to Adams and another completion to Demski.....
ZAC finds Woltman on hook pattern....who turns around and....
....finds no one in front of him....cuts inside and rumbles to the end zone!!
XP makes it 21-21...back to square one....
Harris drops back and has a Stove fall on him - sack
Zac finds Lawler on 2nd down.....then some play action....
...and has Lawler wide open down the sideline all the way to the 15
Zac quick one to Bailey down to the 2.....
McGuire plunges in for the TD   28-21 Bombers
An 85 yard drive.....that is more like it....
Als get a couple of first downs.....until Stambeck is stuffed...
....and Wilson hammers Harris on an incomplete....
Grant catches punt and for at least the 2nd time...no yards missed....
Zac is sacked....then 2nd down pass knocked down...
Castillo in for 48 yd attempt.....but Bombers called for procedure...
Blue O still suffering from some lack of finish....
Harris's 2nd down pass knocked down...but "phantom" PI on Taylor
Harris is then sacked by Thomas....Weineke on screen clobbered by Bighill....
3 minutes left.   Can the Blue grind this one out?
Harris harassed on overthrow.....then has pocket collapse on another....
3rd and 8...Als in to punt...but Bombers offside.  Now 3rd and 3....
....and the Larks are going for it.   Harris gets nervous in the service....
...and overthrows it - right to Bighill!   Turnover!
2 runs fall short....Castillo in for huge 47 yarder....and he hits it!
31-21 Bombers.  All that is left is preserving the 4th Q D record.....
Als have one more shot with 1:18 left.  Harris throws for first down.
Harris throws to sideline....but Alford jumps the pattern.  INT!!
The 4th quarter streak is alive.   The Als are dead.
Crowd is standing and paying tribute to undefeated team at home.
I am now sitting and drinking...in tribute to 7-0 team at home.
