bluto Posted November 30, 2021 Author Report Posted November 30, 2021 Tangentially related: things must look good for the Argos if Damien Cox is Opining in his column that this may be the last ever game for the Argos... Toronto's legacy media's love affair with the CFL continues!

Geebrr Posted November 30, 2021 Report Posted November 30, 2021 I would pick the Argos but the East is impossible to predict this year. Argo starters have basically been sitting for 3 weeks as well. The stadium will probably be at least 50% Ticat fans. I have no idea. bluto 1

They said that about the Rider fans in the '17 East final beforehand too. We'll see. Especially in "These Uncertain Times" Geebrr 1
Tracker Posted November 30, 2021 Report Posted November 30, 2021 After that shitshow last weekend, I gotta go with the Argos. Prior to that, I would have given the TiCats at least even money, but that staggering show of incompetence spoke volumes. bluto 1
Noeller Posted November 30, 2021 Report Posted November 30, 2021 Ham Wpg rematch in 108....been saying it for awhile and I stand by it. Geebrr and bluto 1 1
Geebrr Posted November 30, 2021 Report Posted November 30, 2021 Going into there as a true road team would be awesome. People would count us out, and our boys would eat that up.

JCon Posted November 30, 2021 Report Posted November 30, 2021 Sadly, one of these teams is going to "earn" a spot in the GC. Give it to the TiCats, so at least the league won't have to pretend that anyone really cares about the Argos.

Or because you're concerned that The Argonauts will make it 7-0?

Sorry brother...you know I got much love for ya.....but any team with MacBeth as their starting QB should not scare anyone on the planet. To steal a line from Avengers "That guy is a bag of cats...you can SMELL crazy on him..." Geebrr 1
Geebrr Posted November 30, 2021 Report Posted November 30, 2021 Don't think Grey Cups from the 40s and 50s are keeping me up at night going into 2021 bluto, JohnnyAbonny, Noeller and 1 other 1 3
17to85 Posted November 30, 2021 Report Posted November 30, 2021 Yeah I just don't believe that 3 last names as qb is the recipe for playoff success in the cfl... maybe if they had kept Arbuckle. Noeller 1

Mark H. Posted November 30, 2021 Report Posted November 30, 2021 I'm picking the Argos because they are better in the trenches. Hammy has a great DL, OL not so much. Masoli is not that much better than MBT. coach17 and JohnnyAbonny 1 1
coach17 Posted November 30, 2021 Report Posted November 30, 2021 Rogers is back too, might make a difference. I like Toronto.
bluto Posted November 30, 2021 Author Report Posted November 30, 2021 3 weeks off is a lot of healed bumps and bruises.

Is it even possible for the Argos to even have to field advantage while playing at BMO? This could bite Toronto in the ass and I can see Hamilton taking this one by a couple TDs,if they don't blow Toronto out then I think the Argos win by something like a last minute field goal at most.....Hell,the way the east went this year I wouldn't be surprised if Montreal still had a chance somehow lol Edited November 30, 2021 by Nolby
