LOL at BC spending all that big money on receiver.     Did they not remember how they had zero running game last season and a terrible o-line.  

Good on Lawler if he gets that money but dear lord as a Lions fan I'd be questioning why they would make a guy the highest paid receiver in the league after signing Whitehead to a monster contract and already having Burnham on a new deal that was a decent discount.

Kenny Lawler should leave us if it is for 250k. We simply cannot compete with that offer. They will have a super stacked WR group no doubt about that. 

I can't imagine Williams asking for less than 250k. 

The Stampeders got a great deal for Begelton.

should help with cap situation though. Have him on 6 game for half the year. Only half of his contract would count against the cap. Then get him for the stretch run and playoffs. Honestly not a horrible situation.

Lawler doesn't have to take that offer, and we dont have to match....it's just if he chooses to go there then BC is on hook for that amount. Lawler has bad feelings about B.C...they screwed him over there, so I wouldn't bet the car he going there automatically...see if he sticks to his conviction, and now we see how this wanna be here/play for less/likely playoff cash/dynasty draw plays out and if it as strong as is mentioned

same....he should be in the 165..185k range...BC wanting to pay 615k to 3 receiver's is comical...good luck with a 2nd yr qb behind that **** oline trying to find them...and thats hard money..Burnhams deal could pop that anount closer to 650k....dumb dumb....and I agree with others...if it came down to Lawler at that...but losing one or more of likely BA/Rose/Stove....I let him walk 10 days outta 9....but good on him if he can get that money...cant begrudge him for another teams idiocy

well if Walters is smart...and history shows he is, then he will say to Lawler, well we cant match that...or maybe better "won't" match that, but what we can do is give you 185k hard money with possibility to earn say 20k more, and most likely cash 2 play-off cheques, and continue to be part of what we built...case closed...if he balks, wish him well

Great receiver, is he busting out..or was that a one off...who knows, but he isn't/wasn't straw that stirred the drink, and game we played while suspended did just fine....we will survive.

And like others say...Weineke is out there...Duke, but not sure if that is a good fit lockeroom wise, or SMS wise...I'd rather take a chance on Eric Rodgers....big play guy, and if he isnt the sole focus of the offence may last the whole season....i could see him doing well with ZC scrambling around making things happen...and could prob get him for under 180k

Rogers would be nice....as a #3. Guy just doesn't stay healthy. I'm not sure he's ever played a full season before.

I'd prefer a younger rec that still has some potential untapped.
