Gradually got himself banned from every CFL board - somewhat of a legend - in that regard. I don't think his bookstore still exists - doesn't call CJOB anymore either.

He was a pretty miserable guy but to be honest I didn’t really have a problem with him. He was if anything entertaining.

Maybe when Bauer challenged him he went to Canadinns and stood by the polar bear statue with Bauer’s number on it (“Big Blue”) and got tired of waiting for Lyle to make the first move, so he gave up. 😂

A guy called “Nate from Cleveland” called in to Bob Irving’s Grey Cup postgame show on Sunday. Wondered if it might be him? One last thought, his penchant for trying to give players nicknames that no one else would adopt. The whole “Bobo” man-crush thing was kind of weird (was it Matt Sheridan he tried to attach that moniker to, or Dave Black, or someone else?).

Some of the people I always got a kick out of were the ones who were completely full of **** but act like they were the absolute authority on everything... There was Tuscaloosa Blue a few years ago with the fake training camp reports... and then recently (I'm already forgetting his screen name - Thanks for reminding me it was Polar Bear) the guy Polar Bear who was an expert on covid, broadcasting, and regularly partied with the Bombers since he was Harris' neighbour... what a clown he was... my favourite post was when (I believe it was) @blue_gold_84 made a list of all the things Polar Bear claimed to be an expert on in the 2 weeks he posted here... I know these people are toxic for conversation and misrepresenting facts... but I always find their schtick funny

Anyways, thanks to all of you guys here... when I talk to my family and friends I pretend like I'm some kind of expert on the Bombers b/c of the great knowledge and experience I read here... too many to list but guys like @Booch, @wbbfan, @Mikeand @SpeedFlex27 are so great for conversation and knowledge about the team we all love. Thanks guys!

For those scoring at home, in 12 hours we have learned from his own posts on various topics that Polar Bear:

1. Knows how to hack into live feeds of American networks to get free streaming of sports programming

2. Is a 20 year vet of Ebola and SARS research in a virology lab

3. Is connected to many major US broadcasters and therefore has insider rankings of most of not all sports play by play guys and their reputations within the industry 

4. Has relatives at HNIC and therefore has access to management hiring memos

5. Spent time in New York in a top secret COVID lab under government control operating under a cone of silence unable to share his findings with the public

6.  Is ostensibly a computer graphics specialist who knows how to debug in game productions

7. Has a trusted working relationship with a number of the Blue Bomber players and has the inside track on the injury situation with the club

and because of his concern about the amount of arguing on a fan site, I can only assume -

8. Is an ebony pot having a conversation with a kettle

He never stopped. Remained as the sole member of OB until Colin invoked the mercy rule and pulled the plug on him. He has popped up occasionally on TEP and gets chased out pretty quick.

No, no misunderstanding from me. I compiled all of his claims of grandeur in case it wasn’t clear how ridiculous he was getting. Then I re-compiled them with the not-so-hidden message “Full of ****” acronym since he thought my first post was too subtle. MOBomber then wrote his version of his own accomplishments as satire (I own 9 cars, married Miss Universe) which I think is the post you found good and meant to compliment. For those that asked, if we want to re-live the nuttiness, here is the link to that topic (although I am loathe to resurrect a dead thread most times).
