He’s more likely to walk out than get fired given his history. So he may not last the season. Scott Milanovich quit on the team last year before even coaching one game, so there is precedent for both the coach and the team.

Dakota Prukop and Dru Brown are also participating in Bomber rookie camp, no big deal. 2. Crash course: Veteran QB Dakota Prukop, signed by the club this winter after he was released by the Edmonton Elks, was one of four quarterbacks on the field Wednesday along with Dru Brown — who dressed for two games last year with the Blue Bombers, University of Manitoba product Jackson Tachinski and Jake Floriea, signed this week after playing his college ball at John Carroll University. As a veteran, Prukop did not have to participate in this rookie camp, but chose to do so to learn Buck Pierce’s offence — and knowing that the decision might be touchy with ongoing CBA discussions.

Bargaining Units often have difficulty with the blurred lines. Jones is doing that. I’d guess the elks - jones, supported by his history, are the team that isn't respecting the initiative to not have the participation as requested by the BU.

SpeedFlex27 Posted May 14, 2022 Report Posted May 14, 2022 Is there any other pro sports league who is as bad as the CFL with their collective bargaining agreement negotiations? They do it the same always. Wait until the last minute & then under the gun to get a deal done. BBlink 1

A smaller league means not as many issues so therefore there should be plenty of time to get a deal done in the off season. Start early January after the Xmas & New Year's break. Yet the leave it to early April. Then we have Randy Ambrosie going to CFL fan meetings saying Cum Bye Ya when it isn't & he knows it. Training camps open tomorrow & there's still no deal done as of this moment. No other league does this. Totally ridiculous.
