these d men are not very good. Are these guys really nhl level D?

not physical at all.... they want to defend by wiggling the stick around, bending over, reaching out with stick.

Pionk has really struggled this year 

Demelo and Stanley too really. 

The rest have been ok. Schmidt was brought here to bring O. He has. Dillon for his physicality.  Josh has been tremendous. 

Pionk demelo and Stanley haven't lived up to expectations

Schmidt ain't known for his D. Besides he's playing with pionk who seems to struggle with everyone he played with

Yikes for 55.  Kinda fitting in that both wheeler and Schiefs out with Covid at beginning of season and likey not going to me finish out the season.

The team seems to play a more cohesive game without 55 and 26.
