Yeah...I am glad Cui is in that position there...and maybe they did that on purpose....never know

I don’t think it was necessarily an accident either.

Cui is a smart guy and a promoter.

That’s… something. He’s never playing in the cfl.

with cui maybe it was on purpose I doubt it. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. This happens every so often in sports.

Saw this week kids 12 and under get free tickets to Elks games the rest of the year.

He stole my idea!! I want a percentage of those ticket sales!!! lol

For real though, every team in the league should have this policy.

I'm sure the L(k)'s will give you a 100% of the proceeds of the sales of tickets to under 12.

An MD, and he's an nfl vet of 8 years with 50 starts. He put his NFL career on hold to do his residency. This is just a PR move, that's why no actual value changed hands. He isn't going to play and do that. If he wanted to go back to football he could get on half the teams in the NFL right now if not more.

Nick Marshall is the best DB in the league the same way Garrett Marino is the nicest, most tolerant player.

Buncha deluded assknobs in the rectangle province these days.

Awful scene in Halifax last night. A bunch of Rider Players were drinking in a bar. A guy walks in and says, “all Rider players are ASSHOLES”. A short fat older guy in the bar yells, “I resent that remark.”. A guy, puzzled, asks, “are you a Rider player”? Short fat guy says, “no, I’m an AS***L*”.

For those who missed it (I'm sure Rider Nation is pleased 😜 )

The Canadian Football League has fined a pair of Ottawa Redblacks’ offensive linemen for incidents of rough play that preceded Saskatchewan defensive tackle Garrett Marino’s now infamous illegal hit on quarterback Jeremiah Masoli.

Left guard Cyrille Hogan-Saindon was fined for unnecessary roughness on Roughriders’ linebacker Darnell Sankey, while right tackle Dino Boyd was fined for a late hit on defensive lineman Pete Robertson.

Robertson was injured on the hit from Boyd and is expected to miss four to five weeks. That incident allegedly prompted retaliation from Saskatchewan, with Marino taking a run a Boyd on the next play and later delivering a late, low hit to Masoli which earned an ejection.

"The Canadian Football League may be attempting to drum up support for an expansion franchise in Halifax by hosting their Touchdown Atlantic game this week, but the ownership group for that prospective tenth team is not confident enough to participate in the event.

In an interview with Regina Leader-Post reporter Murray McCormick, Schooner Sports and Entertainment founding partner Gary Drummond stated his group would not be present at any of the league’s events because expansion to Halifax is not imminent.

“We have a lot of goodwill, but we don’t have a franchise arrangement right today. We certainly don’t have the funding and the government participation that we require. That’s not in place because we just haven’t had an opportunity to meet with them,” Drummond said.

“We don’t want to be presumptuous. We’re enthused about the prospects and we think we’re equipped to be a catalyst to making it all happen. We want the opportunity, but we don’t have that, and that’s what we’re working on.”

The CFL’s initial marketing claimed that the Atlantic Schooners would be co-hosting many of the activities in the Nova Scotia capital this week, as well as the main game in Wolfville. However, they’ve been conspicuously absent despite repeated claims from commissioner Randy Ambrosie that expansion is all but guaranteed."

3 downnation.

Q&A: Mayor Mike Savage states ‘there is no political appetite’ for a CFL-specific stadium in Halifax

Halifax Mayor: “I would say the idea of an outside the core of the city major stadium with 25,000 seats is nowhere, that’s just not on the books right now — there is no political appetite for it. The cost of construction has gone crazy. We don’t have a place to play and that’s not going to change in the short term. Are there other options? There may be over the years, but right now we don’t have a place to play professional football.”
