I don't think I've ever seen a HC look so lost.... errr... forgot Tim Burke. Like Burke, he never came back to the CFL. I think that tells you something right there. The jump from a coordinator to HC is huge. I don't think those 2 guys had any idea what they were getting themselves into at the time. And just how bad of an experience they had. I think Claybrooks may now be coaching in the BCFC somewhere.

Now that you say, I think he signed on with Scott Milanovich in Toronto as DC & then resigned. I hope his wife was okay. The man suffered enough here. He didn't need any more bad things in his life. His wife having serious health issues is no joke. He never came back so no idea where he is now. Thanks for correcting me. Edited November 8, 2022 by SpeedFlex27 bearpants 1

I would assume he is in the mold of O'Shea... not an x's and o's guy but a leader and a culture builder... as long as he has good assistants... I don't see why he couldn't succeed as a HC Bigblue204 and blue_gold_84 2

Arnold_Palmer Posted November 14, 2022 Report Posted November 14, 2022 If Dane Evans thought he had PTSD playing in Hamilton, imagine how he’d feel playing behind Saskatchewan’s o-line. He should go be a back up on a good team for a year and re group. rebusrankin, Jesse and Geebrr 3

I completely disagree. Hamiltons main problem was their QB situation and the constant turnovers. They have a decent enough Oline. And their Defense is as solid as they get. They also have a Coach that the players respect. SSK will be in complete rebuild by the end of 2023. rebusrankin, Jesse, Geebrr and 2 others 5
