That's twice Suitor has done that. The first with Keith Urban pushing him to do pbp at the 2019 GC & now with Sinopoli & the telestrator. He thinks he's funny but he's brutal.

I think it is being poorly executed and a bad concept, but it seems to be the way of the future in most leagues, not solely the CFL, and my demographic is the way of the past.  So right or wrong, I think that’s why TSN assumes some (not us, but a target demo they want) want to see a new wrinkle. 

What does the Manning brothers talking on another ESPN channel have to do with anything. If you don't want to watch, don't. Watch the traditional broadcast. You have a choice.

Was just responding to the question “why would TSN assume we want to watch interviews when no other network does them”. Was just pointing to an example of how the NFL does a whole game of it and it draws a lot of eyeballs and is seen as a fun innovation. As for your advice, you could follow it yourself with all the Suitor hate. Mute the TV, synchronize the OB broadcast from the radio or streaming to the video. You have choices as well.

I can't help it that on just about everything here you seem to always want to swim upstream from everyone else against the current. That's just you being you.

took a look on the innernets, at tsn salary.

 

glassdoor .... reported salaries seem not very good, by todays standards.

 

I suspect they dont have the best people available working for them. 

they laid off some people,those left are probably overworked.

Suitor would be almost tolerable if he didn't yip Yap about the same thing incessantly over and over...or interject with his assumptions on things which most times are wayyyy off....and talked to his audience like they aren't 4 yr olds

Suitor should watch video of him doing games in the late 90's when he was just starting out with TSN. He may remember that being simple is indeed more. However more isn't necessarily better. He actually just described the play & then went on to the next. Sometime between then & now he became a monster in the tv booth.

The thing is The Manning cast is on a separate channel and you can choose to watch it or not. NFL telecasts don't have the interviews in the booth while the game is on like TSN is doing. Its comparing apples to oranges.

TSN needs to revamp all around...they trumpeting this25 yr stuff and they haven't really progressed or improved their product other than the standard change to technology....if anything the content and commentary has regressed and got stale

Agreed. Their best commentator was Leif Petterson & he died 20 years ago.

Dustin Nelson is quickly turning into Rod Black.  He is either not paying attention to what's on the field or has vision problems because he seems to be getting players and plays wrong increasingly with each game he calls.  Just do the freaking play by play and don't be afraid to interrupt Suitor with that play by play when Suits is rambling.

He's not as bad as Black,  but he is trying a bit hard with the jokes in the game.

He has a terrible vocabulary.

Take a swig any time he says "catched" instead of "caught."

The Keith Urban one was by far the worst and painfully awkward. Felt quite bad for the guy.
