Darby and Lawrence are far from average....and are leaps and bounds better than Holm and Parker.....as well both have 2+ yrs of CFL experience, and know the game, players and less apt to be fooled or make "rookie" errors than Holm and Parker...which is key...and huge and yes...sorry to say makes us way better in the back end...how you dont see that is baffling

That was last year... this year he struggled to make the field on one of the worst teams. 

It's an improvement because Holm at this point isn't good but it isn't like we are unstoppable because he came back.

Going from F level players to C level players is an improvement.. but lets not make it like we just recruited 2 of the BEST DB's in the league.    It's a step forward and a good move but lets hold expectations back just a bit.

I think most if not all Bomber fans have expressed concerns about Holm and Parker for legit reasons. So Walters goes out and lands a guy whose a vet, who can play every spot in the secondary and who was an all star last year and people **** on the move? WTF.

Who is shitting on the move?  Some people have said it's unfortunate that Wilcotts had to go but nearly everyone has said this is a step in the right direction.

Sure, Wilcotts has potential, but we are talking about bolstering the one area (D back 7) that might of derailed a shot at the three peat...............

and right now thats what we need...so savy move and fact of the matter we can prob get same production if not more from Adams...and possibly Massie...and who knows...MACK could be a call away as well for a depth role

Dane Evans absolutely raped them and if faj was any kind of qb he could have done it too. That side of the secondary with Parker and Holm is an absolute sore spot and needed help in the worst way. Teams are just absolutely going after Parker especially.

they going after him tho as the scheme we been running to try and help him is to have him play way off and keep it all in front....and was doing ok enough for us with Taylor in...but since he went out, and Holm took over its been a gapping hole and a huge issue....Holm if u watch the field is lost a lot....takes wrong guy...or realizes to late to impact the play in regards to breaking it up, or preventing significant gains...what you see via TV angles doesnt tell the whole story....Parker gets a lot of the hate which is a bit unjust

Even with the tv shots, last game alone you can see several instances of Holm spinning around in circles trying to figure who his man was...he's a rookie...playing with another rookie...what would you expect.

This isn’t video games. 
 

Chances are that if you get a vet like Darby who has been a really good player in this league, that he is not having his best year. 
 

Who knows the exact reason why? You certainly don’t. It is a great late season add that is up there with a guy like adding Nick Taylor a few years ago. 
 

The other guy has shown he can be a starter in this league - again, this time of year, tell me where that is coming from? 8/9 teams still think they have a chance to get in the playoffs.

You mean players might look different in different systems? With different supporting casts and playbooks? 

Take a look at who the Bombers have turned into All stars on their back end and where they came from. Just off the top of my head Jones and Maston were cast offs I believe, Taylor too...though I could be wrong about that one. The coaches know who fits in with their style and Darby is absolutely one of them. 

Just need our LBs to get healthy now...well mainly our WLB. Come on Wilson!!!
