greenrider55 Posted October 26, 2022 Report Posted October 26, 2022 Collaros will win MOP, Schoen will win MOR. Alford or Grant will win special teams Lemon for MODP I guess? MOL would’ve been Derek Dennis if he didn’t break his leg. Not sure who it goes to now. MOC I’m gonna assume will unanimously be Rourke. The league will want him to win the award.
Noeller Posted October 26, 2022 Report Posted October 26, 2022 there's a joke in here somewhere about that picture not being Deatrick Nichols......strange error in the graphics department, I'm sure.... K-Shack 1

That, and the fact that he will have earned it, even with only nine games. No other Canadian player did as much as him.

Noeller Posted October 26, 2022 Report Posted October 26, 2022 I don't have the stats in front of me, but didn't Whyte have a pretty good year for them? In theory could have been MOC...

Goalie Posted October 26, 2022 Report Posted October 26, 2022 I dunno. I think leggs got screwed a bit. Grant missed a few games Noeller 1

TrueBlue4ever Posted October 26, 2022 Report Posted October 26, 2022 1 hour ago, Booch said: BC's mode of winning this yr wasnt sustainable...and was more wing and a prayer than controlling a game How so exactly?
Noeller Posted October 26, 2022 Report Posted October 26, 2022 2 minutes ago, TrueBlue4ever said: How so exactly? I don't want to step on Booch's toes here, 'cause he knows more than anyone on this board, but I think the short answer is: BC just isn't a very good team overall. They have a couple of pieces (Rourke, in particular) which allowed them to over-achieve at times, but that's not sustainable. Just a couple of examples, but Calgary and Winnipeg are better overall teams (deeper, more pieces) and will always be able to manufacture a win in multiple ways (as you saw the Bombers do ad nauseum this year) but BC had to pray Rourke would pull some magic out of a hat to get their wins, otherwise they were at best a mid-pack team all year. Forgive me, Booch, but I *think* that's what was meant... JCon and TrueBlue4ever 1 1
