TrueBlue4ever Posted September 8, 2022 Report Posted September 8, 2022 (edited) Week 14 update: Bombers have clinched a crossover playoff spot. Would clinch 3rd in the West with a win over Saskatchewan this weekend. Any combination of Bomber wins and Calgary losses totalling 3 clinches a home playoff game for Winnipeg. No other club can mathematically clinch this weekend. Edited September 8, 2022 by TrueBlue4ever blue_gold_84, Wideleft, Saidin and 7 others 4 6
TrueBlue4ever Posted September 12, 2022 Author Report Posted September 12, 2022 (edited) Week 15 update: Winnipeg has clinched no worse than 3rd in the West. Noeller Posted September 12, 2022 Report Posted September 12, 2022 they'll start resting guys before too long, and thankfully we're playing some shitty ******* teams down the stretch, which will make it easier on the back-ups that will be playing...

My goodness, with Rourke down there really is no reason to lose a game again this year. 10 hours ago, SpeedFlex27 said: Edmonton is horrible. I would think this offseason he will look to make an imprint on the roster. Noeller and Mark H. 2
Booch Posted September 12, 2022 Report Posted September 12, 2022 yeah...Jones as much as a knob that he is....is basically auditioning guys all year to find what he wants/needs....get a base going and will augment thins winter/spring...I bet next yr they could be in the convo for 3rd place...but....thats if he actually doesnt cripple his SMS with stupid Lawler like contracts...same with B.C....this may have been their yr to make serious hay....cause next yr, if Rourke doesnt re-negotiate....or if he is gone and they have to pay VA or some other starter with real QB money and not peanuts...their roster is gonna look a lot weaker JCon 1

He won't have that luxury next year, Elk fans will demand progress.

Yep, by laying on the field and taking injury time outs, when the opposition starting pressuring them... Stay tuned, his actors are being assembled, shenanigan football at its finest!!!

Can't pay all the receivers the cash they make now. Then there DL, LB & DBs. Their OL stinks but they still overpay Chungh. He's almost half of what they'd pay a QB so you can see how effed they are as a team next year. Terrible salary management allottment. TheLions were built to make a challenge this year. Like the Riders were in 2013 & then years of futility after. Noeller 1

I wonder if it's just literally that, the constant rotations, maybe he's taking notes on positions and personal in those spots and building for next season?

For us to clinch first, we need a combination of wins and BC losses totalling 4 (or 3 if we win one of the head-to-head games with them). Bombers clinch first if they win all 3 of their remaining home games. If they split their games with BC, then the Lions need to win all of their other games and the Bombers need to lose all of theirs (and the Bombers have both Edmonton and Saskatchewan at home). Noeller Posted September 18, 2022 Report Posted September 18, 2022 It's been awhile since one of these games (apparently 2015, ironically ZC8 did it to us as a TiCat) so the trolls have been champing at the bit to drop some "O noes!1!"
