blue_gold_84 Posted October 18, 2022 Report Posted October 18, 2022 Scheifele cracks the ice with a beauty feed from Connor. Goalie 1
BomberBall Posted October 18, 2022 Report Posted October 18, 2022 Another poor 2nd period. Jets are really struggling. Perfetti gets absolutely wiped out after making a pass at center ice, waaay late and no penalty. Clear interference. blue_gold_84 and captaincanuck12 2
captaincanuck12 Posted October 18, 2022 Author Report Posted October 18, 2022 2 games in, really bad 2nd periods. Stars absolutely turned the tide. Not sure what it is, but my hope is that Bowness rights the ship when he's back behind the bench. Jets need to dictate play in the 3rd.
iHeart Posted October 18, 2022 Report Posted October 18, 2022 come on guys you can do better than this didn't think I'd get to dig this out so soon
bb1 Posted October 18, 2022 Report Posted October 18, 2022 (edited) 1 - 3 after this road trip, Helle can't keep saving us. Feels like it's going to be a long year. It is early yet though...is Dubois buying into the backchecking rule cause that first goal against was on him. Edited October 18, 2022 by bb1
iHeart Posted October 18, 2022 Report Posted October 18, 2022 The Jets have plenty of time to get their act together bb1 1
BomberBall Posted October 18, 2022 Report Posted October 18, 2022 Dallas is a good team and are playing very well. We knew it would take some time to break the Jets of some old bad habits and get fully in sync with the new systems. How many point shots have we taken? One? That needs to change. Two of Dallas’ goals have come from there… Just sayin’. bb1 1
captaincanuck12 Posted October 18, 2022 Author Report Posted October 18, 2022 The NYR game could have been like this Dallas game. There are some positives though. Not having Bowness behind the bench has probably affected the players and they need that consistent voice telling them to play his way. Anyways next up is the defending champs. bb1 1
TrueBlue4ever Posted October 18, 2022 Report Posted October 18, 2022 Could be worse. Vancouver has blown 3 multi-goal leads already this year and held a player’s only meeting after their loss tonight, one week into the season. bb1 1

JCon Posted October 18, 2022 Report Posted October 18, 2022 New Jets, same as the old Jets. blue_gold_84 and bb1 1 1

Softens the blow a bit.

Since we're playing the Avs, we'll get shitkicked, but I think you'll see a much better effort in the middle frame.
Goalie Posted October 18, 2022 Report Posted October 18, 2022 (edited) Fun fact about the Leafs and Coyotes. Since 2002 the yotes have managed to get atleast a single point in every game they played In Toronto Edited October 18, 2022 by Goalie blue_gold_84, captaincanuck12 and FrostyWinnipeg 2 1
bb1 Posted October 18, 2022 Report Posted October 18, 2022 Until we get a big gun on the point our pp is going to suffer. Hopefully they sit Stanley against the Avs not that Samberg is a massive upgrade but at least he is more mobile and less prone to boneheaded plays. Like to see Capo...

DeMelo served up a nice pizza. Stars guy almost bought it for $5. bb1 1
