Charlotte FC is my MLS team and some of the tickets for their home game against Miami in October are in the thousands, jeez. bustamente 1

Thing is though, Miami will more than likely have a playoff spot locked up by then and Messi has said before he hates playing on artificial turf(Which Charlotte plays on) so he might not even show up for the game and/or play in it anyway and all of these people are paying obscene amounts for the tickets lol smh. bustamente 1

Goalie Posted July 16 Report Posted July 16 (edited) Daughter not a fan of playing soccer. Daughter wanted a pink Messi jersey. Daughter got a pink Messi Jersey. Dude is more known to kids than Gretzky and Jordan and even lebron was. Every kid in her class has a Messi jersey of some kind. The boys even wear the pink ones. Dude is popular AF. Seriously doubt anyone bigger sports wise. T swift tho definitely more overall popularity tho Edited July 16 by Goalie

Seriously doubt anyone bigger sports wise. T swift tho definitely more overall popularity Worldwide its definitely Ronaldo or Messi. Those guys are making crazy money on endorsements. I'd assume locally it's McDavid or LeBron. At the schools for where my children attend I do see lots of Jets jerseys but it's a mixture of the players. We don't have that one go to guy like back in the day where everyone had a Selanne or Hawerchuk jersey.
Goalie Posted July 16 Report Posted July 16 It’s Messi soccer jerseys over here. Occasional Jets stuff on game days but every kid over here has a Messi jersey or some kind.
