Tried to listen to the Sports Cage yesterday to hear Ball's take on BLM signing in Hamilton, he went on and on through numerous guests trying to justify past statements he's made that didn't work out.  Even Luc Mullinder refuted his claims with a little common sense.  I'm not sure he even believes most of the **** he's spewing, it's more or less theatrics to draw ears and try to keep his job.

More like he is simply what would happen if you put a microphone in front of a riderfans poster. Just a fanboi without any understanding of how the sport really works spewing biased homer takes and then refusing to accept that he was wrong.

Geno Lewis would be a wonderful edition to the Big Blue if Schoen leaves and/or Lawler signs somewhere else.

But not at any price.

Talk on twitter of Dane going to Ottawa to run the same 1a 1b system with Masoli that they had in Ham. Would love to see that if for no other reason than Sask having to trot out Faj and Fine again in '23. That team is going to be SO bad and there's absolutely no way to fix it in time for this coming season....

That would makes things interesting. Quite a bit of Ottawa's talent is above average.

I threw that out there awhile ago - I could definitely see it.

We said that last year. One injury to Massoli & it was all over. They're talent is a hundred feet wide & 2 inches deep.

I disagree. We'll see how they do this year.

Unfortunately, they have to start over again.

Hopefully they have some success so Dyce can get some continuity again.

Doesn't matter how much you think your organization is beloved when you've been a tire-fire on and off the field and your coach/GM are on one year deals but should have been canned. That is not a situation anyone wants to go to. No coaches, no players want that. Some will have to live with it.

Wait until Sankey, and Dean leave, and they strike out in FA, for the exact same reasons BLM said no thanks...RF heads are going to explode.

True...and that's exactly the type of crap the Riders organization insists Harvard hires in their PbP guy. You can't speak a negative word about the Riders in a year where they keep piling cars onto the train wreck.....what's left to say that won't sound deliriously optimistic or foolish. Couple that with a guy known to be a blowhard and you've got what we see now. Just straight up ridiculousness and not all of it is on Ballsy. Although, he sure makes no effort to minimize it either. It's their fan base that drives this. Ever read anything negative about the Riders online that has a comment section? Pure gold the reaction it gets. However, when you are in THAT market, THAT reaction is business suicide so you have to skip merrily down lollipop lane so as not to trigger Riderfans who are blissfully adrift in their delusions.

Just for some context, that quote was taken from a piece suggesting  it's a great thing that O'Day isn't re-signing many players from last year, which is probably accurate. That team was **** and almost nobody deserved to be brought back.
