Most of their top players are hitting FA, and are rumored to be doing so with the intention of leaving. Take Orimolade, Lemon, Thurman, Jorden, etc out of that lineup and that is a crap load of talent walking out the door. Also, just noticed Mack Henry is a pending FA. I'd take him if the price was right and pending a physical and work out. I was thinking about this today too, there's a lot of big names leaving. Just straight up arrogance on DD's part thinking he can recruit replacements?

Goalie Posted February 8, 2023 Report Posted February 8, 2023 Would Micah or Big Ted take discount deals to play here cuz they would probably have to turn down more money elsewhere

Noeller Posted February 8, 2023 Author Report Posted February 8, 2023 Jones really getting the band back together but still no QB....
JuranBoldenRules Posted February 8, 2023 Report Posted February 8, 2023 Moore is a great value play. 2nd year off ACL. Edmonton building the right kind of core around Cornelius. He's a quick game guy, not going to sit in pocket and make reads. Wanna-B-Fanboy and Bigblue204 2

JohnnyAbonny Posted February 9, 2023 Report Posted February 9, 2023 I think his is the best of Edmontons ex-Rider signings. Moore is a very decent WR2/3.
Noeller Posted February 9, 2023 Author Report Posted February 9, 2023 Interesting. If Walters was willing to let him walk, I'm sure they have a plan for DT, which is our only real hole at this point... Tracker and Piggy 1 2
Geebrr Posted February 9, 2023 Report Posted February 9, 2023 When I was at GC 2021 his buddy (a giant dude in a Sayles jersey) was in the bathroom at the same time and I heard him saying to another guy that Tiger Cat fans were buying him free drinks all night before because they thought he was Sayles. Anyway, Hamilton is close to home, not surprised.
rebusrankin Posted February 9, 2023 Report Posted February 9, 2023 I like Sayles but $200,000 per year is an overpay. coach17, blue_gold_84, Geebrr and 3 others 1 5
JohnnyAbonny Posted February 9, 2023 Report Posted February 9, 2023 (edited) Good. It means they have no choice but to bring in a big fat monster nose tackle. Edited February 9, 2023 by JohnnyAbonny

rebusrankin Posted February 9, 2023 Report Posted February 9, 2023 Wonder when Hamilton realizes they are paying BLM over 500,000 and that they should get him some receivers? wbbfan 1

I love sayles he had a really under appreciated year for us. But the fit isn’t there. Not with our ni rotation at dt beside him. we need a nose. I’m happy for sayles getting paid and he’s gonna fit in really well in Hamilton. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has a huge year. Bigblue204, Mark H. and Wanna-B-Fanboy 3
bustamente Posted February 9, 2023 Report Posted February 9, 2023 If 200k is true for Sayles that's F N crazy, I'm sorry he is a good player but that's 50k + to rich wbbfan, Noeller and rebusrankin 1 2

Arnold_Palmer Posted February 9, 2023 Report Posted February 9, 2023 200k for Sayles might end up being the worst move of the entire off season. Wow I can’t believe Hamilton is throwing that kind of money at him. Noeller and Bubba Zanetti 1 1
