Whitehead is just shy of 300k if he meets his bonuses.

MOBomberFan Posted February 13, 2023 Report Posted February 13, 2023 We need long term variable rate contracts that rise and fall with demands of the market. Have fun with managing that by season's end, GMs Wanna-B-Fanboy, Bigblue204, GCJenks and 1 other 4

bluto Posted February 13, 2023 Report Posted February 13, 2023 If Rhymes and his agent want to angle for a new deal (likely by offering another year or two), they're welcome to try. The worst the team can say is "no". Bigblue204 and Jesse 1 1
Geebrr Posted February 13, 2023 Report Posted February 13, 2023 Wonder if Rhymes wanted to fight McEvoy and Campbell in the parking lot after their offer? GCJenks, blue_gold_84, Noeller and 5 others 1 7

Geebrr Posted February 13, 2023 Report Posted February 13, 2023 (edited) If the Elks are indeed paying Lewis 300k/year it should be fun to watch Lawler going against them this year. Edited February 13, 2023 by Geebrr Noeller and Bigblue204 2

GCn20 Posted February 13, 2023 Report Posted February 13, 2023 Meh....Rhymes thing is a nothing burger imo. He asks for a trade, BC ups him a little bit on a renegotiated one year deal and he is a Lion this year. If they don't redo his contract they both lose. What is he going to do if they don't re-up him. He probably feels he holds all the cards but he doesn't. Bigblue204 and Jesse 2
bluto Posted February 13, 2023 Report Posted February 13, 2023 Non Bomber Off Season Update: One of my riding Brothers gets the Grey Cup a week from today on the Holiday Monday. We're tailgating and having a party. Expecting 70+ friends. Menu is looking good. Any MBB posters in the GTA East who'd like to pop-in can PM me. Speaking for myself, it'll be the final time this off season that I celebrate our Championship. Afterward, the climb begins again. Geebrr, Noeller, johnzo and 4 others 5 2

JuranBoldenRules Posted February 13, 2023 Report Posted February 13, 2023 Rhymes has to be a little careful. He’s a good player, not an exceptional one. Given the list of veteran receivers on the market still he’s not irreplaceable.

He would be a close second to Lawler in available players.
