Wanna bet? He’s going to punt and kick off while Sergio kicks fgs. Book it. About 0.0001% chance he’s cut.
If Sergio gets hurt then legs will take over kicking. And they’ll likely go into next years camp the same way, contract depending.

Give me odds and you're on lol

I believe DTs stay page said Castillo had many deeper attempts than Legs, which impacted his percentage. Jones threw him out there at 40+ constantly where Legs, bless him, was rarely asked to kick deeper ones (lest we all forget about a 50+ yarder to win the LDC last year...)

But I believe you said from your memory that Castillo wasn't any better then Legs :P

for a whole generation, Kapp vs Mosca is all about the 2011 Grey Cup...... kind of sad, but also kind of funny. RIP to one of the all time great QBs....

He kind of broke the ice on players getting a gig that paid a little more than their CFL salary.....Who could forget his Squirrel Peanut Butter commercial...I remember a few other players of the day laughing him off cuz he made that ad....but Kapp was laughing all the way to the bank

Interesting...... more than a few of us were clamouring for him at FA time....

He was just doing interviews a couple ago about how he was happy to be in Calgary but upset about how Montreal handled his release.  Wonder what changed so quickly?

His father, Shawn, played quarterback at the professional level for Calgary as well as the Ottawa Rough Riders, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and Denver Broncos. He also attended the University of Virginia.”

Did  not know his Dad played for us. Or in the CFL at all.

Why would Liegghio kickoff if Castillo is playing?  Because we want to lose 15 yards of field position each kick?

Legs avg ko last year was 4 yards deeper than Sergio’s, who had the worst gross ko distance avg of any player with more than 4 kick offs. His 2019 average was even worse.
Legs is a bit better than league average and Castillo is one of the worst kick off guys in the league.

Must’ve missed him getting mop in that one lol. But he was good in that stint here, though over all still just marginally better than legs in a total of 10 kick offs. Legs had a much better average till late last year actually.
None of the 2 are ideal for kick offs. But legs is certainly a bit better. But yes Sergio is pretty clutch.

I was just making a joke about the kickoff singles

Lemar Durant and Terran Vaughn retire in Ottawa. Apparently Ottawa may go with a national at OT.

That almost always smacks of desperation to me. You see the odd ratio breaker but in general the gap between imp and ni Ts is a big one.
