(Way to stop your rant….oh, wait a minute) all I have to say on that, as I know jackshit is gonna change save for some influx of injuries, or we really pooch a few games due to it Still waiting for that “for sure loss” to happen even once , and the HC finally pulls his head out of his arse I’ll keep enjoying the winning and won’t try so hard to find a reason to gripe, or worse yet, hope we lose just so I can say “told you so” rather than have to admit maybe the character attacks on O’Shea are a bit overblown. JohnnyAbonny Posted August 24, 2023 Report Posted August 24, 2023 In terms of the roster, why Holm vs Parker? Imo the argument should be Parker vs Kramdi. I thought the turnaround for Parker was that pick in the Sask game here, where the receiver stopped his route early and Parker made a great int falling backwards. Following that it was play after play. K-Shack, Bigblue204, Bombertown and 1 other 3 1

Oh for sure...Cole....Parker...Darby....anyone but Kramdi.....good teamer, but not an every dowN defensive guy....I would even slap Holm there over Kramdi....he could at least run with the slots, and RB out of back field....would not be what u want so much as a run stopper and more in the box play when required, but over all would do more than Kramdi I don't know why they dont Flip Holm to safety and BA back at SAM....Thats where I would see Holm having the best impact and better fit......we/you don't need a big thumper back there as 9 times out of 10 u getting flagged for it now, but he would be ideal ranging sideline to sideline for over the top help BigBlueFanatic and JohnnyAbonny 2

Now waiting for your analysis to the contrary....tag That's my point. There is no analysis of him this year because no one has seen him play. Are you suggesting a player has never regressed after injury? I'm not even saying Parker isn't as good as Holm. Only that the Coaches who have watched the guys practice don't seem think he'd be an upgrade there. And it's a group where changes have been made in past (some due to injury, but then not given back if the replacement shows well).

Main thing for him is always health which is likely why they are keeping Darby on, who was a major liability in the first 5-6 games. This is the first time he's stayed healthy getting regular reps on D for more than a couple games. D across the board (yards allowed, points allowed) has been better since this current group of regulars started playing together, Wilson, Kramdi, Houston and Rose at corners.

That's more a result of Jeffcoat....and then Wilson and Rose coming back...not Kramdi insertion...and Darby was good first few games...and not anything worse than Kramdi after that...the fact tho we don't utilize the fact we have extra Canadian starter on defence and use another Dtackle...or end with no impact on ratio and shift WJ or Jeffcoat inside on some sets is odd...as would make our Dline and defense as a whole way more effective..
