Always liked Jesse P. He just needed ageing. Plus it would have been cool to have the 2nd, 3rd and 4th pick that draft year MrFreakzilla and bustamente 1 1

Corporate support. that’s why salt lake can make it worK and Quebec can’t. Omaha tho, that’s the one where you go really huh, Omaha over Quebec. Crazy. perhaps the cdn dollar and 25 percent of the league having no trade clauses to Canada tho also. Growing the game. Would the game grow more in Q city or Omaha. I personally feel Quebec City is more for maybe relocation. Same with salt lake. Just because expansion gonna cost billions and Quebeccor don’t have billions. Q city best bet, hope Atlanta gets a team again. Cuz Calgary and Winnipeg say thank you. Edited February 6, 2024 by Goalie

Omaha has four Fortune 500 headquarters though which is one less then Utah and 1 more then Quebec and the ones in Quebec are all MTL area based. I wonder if Warren likes hockey?

Otherwise, all contracts will be made up of primarily "signing bonuses". There's tax avoidance, legal, and tax evasion, not legal. This would be tax evasion, IMO.

What do you think of Connor McDavid winning a million dollars the skills competition at the NHL All Star weekend? With all the homelessness & people lining up for food banks & just the general struggle we're all having today as a society, wouldn't it have been better for McDavid to have won the money & then donate it all to the charity or charities of his choice? What a great gesture that would have been. I mean. the guy is already making millions. Does he really need the extra money? How much is too much? Edited February 10, 2024 by SpeedFlex27

He talked about potentially donating it, during a post-event press conference. He was going to take time to figure it out. Said there are a lot of good options, he just hadn't put too much thought into it yet.
