Noeller Posted August 1, 2023 Report Posted August 1, 2023 Holm and Parker are both playing. Holm at DB and Parker returning kicks... K-Shack 1

He has been that way even when he was in Usports with Laval. My Western Mustangs nullified him in the 2017 Vanier Cup and Betts was a non factor in that game. Keep pounding him, he is a player that gets very agitated easily. Mark F and Wanna-B-Fanboy 2

One returns kicks and one returns punts I think. At any rate, Tait said earlier this week that Parker would likely stay on as a returner and Holm stay on D.

Goalie Posted August 2, 2023 Report Posted August 2, 2023 (edited) Why not just go Parker or a different DB at SAM. Holm might make a good SAM but he's been arguably our best db so Parker there makes some sense. Edited August 2, 2023 by Goalie

Parker at SAM makes more sense in my mind. I bet Nichols would make a damned good SAM too but he's also one of the best halfbacks in the league so what do you do Goalie 1

Bombertown Posted August 2, 2023 Report Posted August 2, 2023 It’s McRae on kick, Parker off lineup entirely. Just posted Jesse 1
JCon Posted August 2, 2023 Report Posted August 2, 2023 (edited) Remember the OL that was wrecked by the Lions last time? We're running it back! Our DL, who should feast on Evans, will be gassed by halftime. Edited August 2, 2023 by JCon MrFreakzilla and rebusrankin 2
rebusrankin Posted August 2, 2023 Report Posted August 2, 2023 Why the **** do we have Jackson on as a DA if Burtenshaw is back? A back up fullback who uses a spot that could be a DB (Parker) or a DT (Fox). BomberBall, K-Shack, BigBlueFanatic and 3 others 2 4

Super Duper Negatron Posted August 2, 2023 Report Posted August 2, 2023 This is as healthy as we are going to be. No more excuses! If we get trucked, will there be any fallout? McCrae returning punts scares me. He looked shaky until Parker replaced him last week. Jesse, Blue-urns, BigBlueFanatic and 2 others 5

Yipee! yup...no need to start him there ratio wise, and BC receivers will chew him u and spit him out....Get your starting National fullback back...and still burn a DA spot on an American one so you have to remove your only true punt returner in Parker and a guy who can play SAM...CB...and HB.....or go into game lean on the Dline where u could have dressed Fox, or the new DE...again another example of a pathetic use of the roster....but didnt expect anything different to be honest Edited August 2, 2023 by Booch rebusrankin, K-Shack, TBURGESS and 1 other 1 3
Bubba Zanetti Posted August 2, 2023 Report Posted August 2, 2023 Nice to see theyve smartened up with their roster decisions facing the 1st place team that youve already lost to in ass-smacking fashion, where a 2nd loss to them will likely make finishing first an impossibility..........Oh wait. rebusrankin 1
Jpan85 Posted August 2, 2023 Author Report Posted August 2, 2023 Would Darby not be able to come in for a Canadian at any point?
Booch Posted August 2, 2023 Report Posted August 2, 2023 YUP....And again....stubborn Osh refusing to use the Nationalized American rule....basically because he doesnt like it as there is no other reason not to.... Piggy 1 1
rebusrankin Posted August 2, 2023 Report Posted August 2, 2023 I get MOS's trust in the Oline and not making changes (I would but I get his rationale). I don't see why we keep using Jackson as a DA when it could be used on the Dline or Secondary. I don't understand only dressing 6 Dlinemen when most teams go 7-9 and your team has had great success doing that. I don't get the love for Kramdi. If Darby has lost his job, then why not use Parker instead? BigBlueFanatic, Blue-urns, Jesse and 3 others 1 5
Booch Posted August 2, 2023 Report Posted August 2, 2023 Just now, Jpan85 said: Would Darby not be able to come in for a Canadian at any point? yeah if they declare only 1 starter on defence than Kramdi or Thomas/Lawson can be subbed for freely....be a nice option to toss in Fox to the dline mix all game....but oh wait...we chose to dress an American fullback with one of our DA spots.....for minimal pointless use now that we have Burtenshaw back.....
Bubba Zanetti Posted August 2, 2023 Report Posted August 2, 2023 But he's a Navy Seal godammit! BigBlueFanatic, Mark F, K-Shack and 4 others 7
Booch Posted August 2, 2023 Report Posted August 2, 2023 for all the Osh defenders and people who think he can do wrong...who truly thinks this is the best use of the roster??...like really?? MrFreakzilla 1
Bubba Zanetti Posted August 2, 2023 Report Posted August 2, 2023 I just dont understand dressing Jackson when Burtenshaw is back and youve got a healthy Parker who could come in for some secondary reps and/or replace someone if they get nicked-up . Not to mention Parker looks way more comfortable than McCrae fielding kicks. It make zero f**king sense. TBURGESS, K-Shack, Blue-urns and 1 other 4
